I'm comfortable in most situations; e.g. being on a boat in the north sea during winter, sleeping in my car/truck before a motorcycle race or while traveling cross country, or hiking in the wllderness.
I'm low maintenance, but will (half seriously) joke about looking for that elusive starbucks cart on top of the mountain or at the end of the trail, while I know that I can whip out my multi-fuel MSR stove and make coffee almost anywhere, if needed.
While it's nice to plan for things if you can, I'm very much a take it as you go and make do with what you have kind of guy when it comes down to the wire. E.g. my jobs sometimes requires me to make unscheduled oversea trips with little notice to fix customer problems.
But it's not all fun and adventure. a majority of my time is spent working away on a computer in a cubicle. I also like to chill and watch a DVD or just hang out with my family. One of my favorite things to do, is sit at a coffee shop (or airport) and people watch.
I wish I had more time to do the things I love, but manage to find a balance between work/family/play, that mostly works.
