My self-summary
I'm always up for adventure. I love seeing what's off-the-beaten-path. I never want to stop learning about something new. I'm really interested in perspectives and how different people experience different things. I have a tendency to stretch myself too thin - there's so much to do and see out there, and not nearly enough time for it all. In practice, this means I'm something of a dabbler.

I'm a bit shy at first, smoke weed pretty regularly, and am doing the whole stereotypical Bay Area sex-positive, pansexual, kinky and poly thing.
What I’m doing with my life
General vagabondage.

I'm a data scientist at a small education company - I try to figure out what students are having the most trouble with, and how best to help them. I moved to SF 3 years ago, and I'm completely in love with the Bay Area. I like to play around with synthesizers, guitars and loop pedals in my free time. I want to get back into making/consuming elaborate cocktails.
I’m really good at
Procrastination, dabbling, adventure-having, cuddling, and wikipedia.
The first things people usually notice about me
Probably my devilish good looks, and my rapier wit
but more likely my ridiculous unpronounceable last name
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: I have an embarrassing thing for David Foster Wallace. Philip K. Dick, Flannery O'Connor and Borges are big favorites too.

Books: I don't read as much as I used to unfortunately. I have a ridiculous thing for George Saunders short stories though, and I like a lot of Jennifer Egan, Junot Diaz, Philip K. Dick and Zadie Smith. Graphic-novel wise, I like a lot of stuff by Daniel Clowes, Edward Gorey, Jason and Marjane Satrapi. I really dug Sandman, but I had trouble getting into other Neil Gaiman stuff.

Movies: I love me some cult movies - Purple Rain, House, The Room, MST3K fare. I have a thing for old samurai movies, and I love head trippy Charlie Kaufman stuff like Adaptation/Being John Malkovich/Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Music: I'm worried I'm an old now - I don't discover new music nearly as often as when I had a radio show, so I'm definitely open to music suggestions. I'm a big Bjork and Bowie fan and I like Kanye more than I'm willing to admit to most people. I've been on a big hip-hop kick recently! I've been listening to a lot of: Danny Brown, Drake, Nico Jaar, Kendrick Lamar, Neil Young, The Smiths and Tom Waits.

Food: Brunch time is the best time. I love Indian/Thai/Japanese/pizza as well however.
The six things I could never do without

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lighter Topics: Why I haven't started a synth-pop group yet;why brunch food is so delicious.

Heavier Topics: Societal norms and how or why they first came about. The master narrative/the gender binary/the fluidity of sexuality.
