My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
recently transplanted from san francisco to park city for the winter

i'm always up for adventure - i love seeing what's off the beaten path, encountering new perspectives and just constantly trying to learn as much as i can about the world around me. i love animals of all shapes and sizes. burritos make up a key component of my diet.

overly prone to stream of consciousness-style writing.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
general vagabondage.

doing what i love. i moved to sf 3 years ago, and i'm still infatuated with the bay area. learning. traveling. writing. i like to play around with synthesizers, guitars and loop pedals in my free time.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
procrastination, dabbling, adventure-having, cuddling, and wikipedia.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
probably my devilish good looks, and my rapier wit (but more likely my big glasses/tattoos/ridiculous unpronounceable last name)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
books: i have a ridiculous thing for george saunders short stories, and i like a lot of thomas pynchon, jennifer egan, junot diaz, philip k. dick and zadie smith. illustrated works-wise, I like a lot of stuff by daniel clowes, edward gorey, jason and marjane satrapi. i really dug sandman.

movies/tv: i love me some cult movies - purple rain, house, the room, mst3k fare. i have a thing for old samurai and miyzaki films, and I love head trippy charlie kaufman stuff like adaptation/being john malkovich/eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. tv-wise, i dig adventure time, archer, comedy bang bang, cowboy bebop and ugly americans.

music: i'm worried i'm an old now! i got exposed to a lot more new music when i had a radio show, so i'm definitely open to music suggestions. i'm a giant prince fan, and partial to bjork and bowie. other favorites include danny brown, drake, earl sweatshirt, guided by voices, nico jaar, kendrick lamar, neil young, pavement, rhye, talking heads, the smiths and tom waits.

food: i love trying new stuff, and i want to start cooking more often. brunch is one of my favorite meals however, and i'm also partial to indian/thai/japanese food.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
the written word
intellectual stimulation
baklava (or good food more generally speaking)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
lighter topics: why i haven't started a synth-pop group yet; why brunch food is so delicious.

heavier topics: societal norms and how or why they first came about. the master narrative/the gender binary/the fluidity of sexuality.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
having an adventure hopefully. some combination of tasty food, cuddling animals, reading a good book, taking in a show, wreaking havoc about the town.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
