Hi, I’m Sam, I’m a freelance film maker and general media dogsbody,
which means I don’t have much routine to my life, but that usually
suits me fine. Most of my time I’m either editing at home or am
trying to find the tea bags in a new office. And occasionally I get
to go on exciting shoots. In fact I’ve just come back from filming
bamboo farmers in Rwanda.
I'm very easy to persuade to try new and ridiculous things at least
once, even if I find them terrifying.Recent examples include
sailing and stand up comedy.
What I’m doing with my life
I mainly work on science films, which probably makes me a bit of a
geek, but I like to think that I’m also quite creative. I'm
vegetarian and left handed, and can be a little quiet. People
sometimes think I’m shy when they first meet me, but I’m not
I like reading, cycling, making, breaking and fixing things. I like
driving old camper vans, and am looking forward to the summer,
which will be full of festivals and countryside.
I’m really good at
having silly ideas and occasionally doing them. Growing mushrooms.
