I've never really worried about finding someone - I focused on figuring myself out and knew the rest would come. Well, sometimes you need to make things happen for yourself, and that's why I'm here!

I am happy with my life right now - love my job, my family, my friends, and my dog. I consider myself to be laid-back and pretty down-to-earth. People have also described me as sweet, caring and loyal.

I love the everyday things: dinner with friends, a good dirty martini, exploring a new neighborhood, movies, volunteering, hbo shows...and am looking for someone to enjoy these things with me and hopefully to open myself to new things. Isn't that what life's about? Basically, I think I want someone to laugh with.

I as born and raised in Queens and am pretty family oriented. I absolutely love NY but also love to travel - I'm dying to do more.

I work in publishing and love everything about books. I'm at a point when I am finally happy with my career after years of hard work.

Books: To many to choose from...but I just read Pride & Prejudice & Zombies which was fun
Tv: Lost, 30 rock, dexter, in treatment
Music: Love, love u2, but my music tastes are eclectic - Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Kanye, Arctic Monkeys, Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, Weezer, Kings of Leon, etc.
Food: sushi, thai, seafood, Mexican, but nothing beats a well-made bowl of pasta
