I appreciate large vocabularies, and I cannot prevaricate. Members of my fraternal order are unable to voice their denial of this point: when a woman enters the vicinity who is of reasonable physical attractiveness while at the same time demonstrating an ample lexicon, one finds oneself aroused. One becomes desirous of conversation when confronted with such loquacity.

Baby Got Fluency

Like many members of this lost generation, I am seeking something- a path to meaning, perhaps. Meanwhile, I am considering what exactly it is I want out of life, and figuring out how to go about achieving those things.

Less metaphysically, I spend my time reading, writing, and thinking about motivation, ethics, and game theory in between shifts at a job that has nothing to do with my degree. I'm trying to change that last bit.

Reciting pi, the introduction to the Canterbury Tales in middle english, or the inscription on the One Ring in the tongue of Mordor. I can be talked into explicating the religious themes of John Steinbeck's early oeuvre after a few beers.

I'm pretty sharp at board games, too.

Since the age of thirteen, wherever I go, I have been stalked by a twenty-four foot Albertosaurus named Jethro. He usually makes quite an impression.

The discworld series by Terry Pratchett, LotR, all the mandatory geek icons. I'm also drawn by darker, more morbid fare, such as Dexter and Breaking Bad.

I usually listen to the usual mix of nostalgia-driven 90's The End music, though I love Queen unironically, and can't stop my head from nodding when Metallica comes on the radio.

I love zombie genre stuff. Dawn/Day of the dead, Shaun of the Dead, Zombie Survival Guide (I have a zombie preparedness plan, just in case. Can't be too careful), Walking Dead, World War Z, etc.

Verbs.
Self-control.
Communication.
Stimulation.
Meaning.
Elbows.

Brains, and how best to use them. The fact that the LHC was once referred to in print as the Large Hardon Colluder. Necropants. Juggling. Whether or not the intersection of time travel and cloning would be experimentally indistinguishable from solipsism.
