My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm easily entertained, laugh a lot, and I am a product of the Midwest. I may come off a bit shy at first but once I trust you won't cut me I'm a nice guy! Nerdy pursuits, cooking, aimless wandering, and playing board / video games are a few of my favorite things.

To be honest I am not 'looking' for love, nor am I in a rush to find someone. I'm all for taking things slow and once there is a spark I will fan the flames ;) I started the career I am very passionate about 6 months ago and I love it!! I am very extroverted at work so in my personal life I am a homebody.

I am sarcastic, give my full attention to those I love, and I am very optimistic.

Dating a doctor:
We work when the vast majority has time off (I will always work weekends and holidays).
My scheduled end time? Forget it, it is a suggestion lol.
My schedule changes often, and 8, 10, 15 day work stretches are not unheard of.

I bring this up (my schedule) since it has historically created rifts. That being said, I know how to make time! I have become a huge planner ;)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I poke a lot of eyeballs, play with small cups made of silicone hydrogel and ask "1or 2".

For all you emmetropes out there (that may not have experienced "1 or 2 ") I am an optometrist.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Laughing
Forgetting names and remembering faces
Cooking
Making origami
Taking long baths
Being both the big and little spoon (I love cuddling!)
Driving manual ( I can't stand paddle shifters)
Not killing plants
Keeping bathroom sinks immaculate
Making you laugh
Being honestly excited for my 30th birthday! Soon!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My ginger beard? I don't know. But I have been asked if I dye my hair a lot, and the answer will always be "no".
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like a lot of things so it is easier to say I'm not a fan of country music, I'm mostly vegetarian (it's completely fine if you are not), and I don't watch a lot of reality TV.

Random list of things I frequent often: Royksopp, Zelda 3Ds, bowling alleys, PS4, Hedwig, Divergent, Robyn, Top Chef, The Weather channel app, CNN, Gizmodo, The Walking Dead, The Spice House, Rotten Tomatoes, Archer Vice, Vegetarian Times, Molly's Cupcakes, Think Geek, etc. If you enjoy the Fifth Element and Coraline definitely say hi!

As for my current favorite songs:

They change often. I commute a lot for work which requires a steady stream of high energy music (aggressive lane changes do not occur unassisted)! So if you spot me enjoying a one man dance party let's share in a collective laugh since I can't dance and I'm seated... ;)

One consistent favorite is Lana Del Rey, love me some Lana! (Or LANA!!! Oh Archer haha).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Friends and family
Pets (currently 2 Bombay cats)
Laughter
My phone
A goal
Google / access to the internet. I have an insatiable curiosity!
(I can live without them but peanut butter and jelly sammies nearly made this list)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why there isn't a search filter for guys with hairy chests and / or beards; the aforementioned is kind of a must for me.

I guess I have to be serious sometimes lol. I think a lot about water. I grew up adjacent to a Great Lake and I currently live adjacent to a Great Lake. I do not understand unsustainable cities that are built without a sustainable source of water. I am a fan of the Great Lakes Compact. Oh, and the cryptosporidium outbreak in Milwaukee? That was great... Hence my drive towards the preservation of water ;)

I am also excited for the 606! If you have not heard of it visit the project here: http://the606.org
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
- Content at home while trying to watch the ending of a movie for the third time.
- Trying a new recipe.
- Rarely seen out since I always work weekends.
- Plotting what I can do with the random weekdays I have off.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This really isn't that private but I deleted Facebook, never joined Instagram, and refuse to tweet. Shiny things distract me enough as it is, I do not need shiny digital distractions haha.

The power of Christ compels you?

You too were a Lego maniac (or if you still are!).

Or really if you are nice guy who loves to laugh and believes courtesy is not dead!
