My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born in Hong Kong but have lived in the Boston area for more than 20 years prior to moving to RI. My family is still in the area and we are pretty close. I drive up every couple of weeks to see them. My job prompted my move to RI a while back and I am trying to make some friends (or perhaps something more) here or even back in MA. My ex-co-worker friend that I normally hang out with is moving to the west coast so there's an open position for qualified applicants.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working hard to pay the bills and hopefully climbing that corporate ladder one of these days. The job sucks away my soul but it helps me build stability.

Outside of that, I'd like to take classes or enroll in a program for photography at some point in the near future. I think I may have picked up too much fancy equipment for my level.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Staring directly into the sun.
And eating cookies.
The first things people usually notice about me

In a room full of non-Asians, they'll notice that I'm Asian.

In a room full of Asians, they'll notice I'm not hanging out with the Asians.

It did say the first thing they noticed, right? It's a natural reaction even if nobody will admit to it.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.

Damn, that's only five and I think it's for something else...

Saber-Tooth Tiger!

Man... I'm not doing this right...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why people mention the specific aspects that they do when talking about themselves.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
In terms of activities, I'd prefer a game night of sorts with friends rather than going out to bars. I don't drink all that much and my sweettooth makes me hate the bitterness of beers. Have no problem staying in and lazing around either.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have a Hello Kitty phone case. She's cosplaying so it's okay.
When I was a kid, I jammed a pencil up my nose and the eraser got stuck (and yes, it was removed).
Also I probably watched too much Sailor Moon (and now watching Crystal).

Currently accepting applications for:
- Partner in crime (not actual crime, sorry)
- Shooting buddy (cameras, not guns)
- Dinner chum
- Museum tour guide
- Player 2 (Player 1 maybe)

We'll get along fine if you have a good heart and a nerdy streak. Creative people who can spark my intellect would be an absolute plus but I definitely don't mind just shooting the breeze with people. It doesn't hurt to talk, does it? I like to take things slow - if you're just looking for a quick hookup, talk to the guy taking selfies with his shirt off.
