I hope to someday be a ninja pirate robot monkey zombie who puts on a cape and flies around making sure people around the world have a fighting chance at realizing their potential. You know, a *useful* superhero.
I am in a long term relationship, but I'm open to friendship and/or dating. I would love to find a dedicated but time-casual friendship or relationship with someone/s who is/are also overwhelmed and busy like I am. I have theme park passes to universal and busch gardens. I love the beach during sunset. I like getting dressed up and going out. I like movies. I like staying home and playing board games or video games or watching bad japanese zombie movies. I am fun and I sometimes have free time, so if you are also fun and sometimes have free time OMG we have so much in common and must meet :).
I like being nerdy or being nerd adjacent. I like video games, sci-fi, and cosplay. I like media. I like being around role players, but I'm pretty horrible at it myself. I'm a huge Dr. Who fan. I play MMORPGs when I have time. I go to Dragon*con and Frolicon. I love the DC universe but don't read comics because I forget to look at the pictures.
I'm a dedicated graduate student. I have a masters degree in Biomathematics. I am getting a PhD in molecular medicine. My focus is on a big picture network perspective of aging. I think we have the potential to stop or drastically slow aging in our lifetimes if we put the resources behind it. I'm also an alcor member.
Politics are important to me, but if we agree on some basic things, such as healthcare and education being fundamental human rights, then we'll get along great. However, if you think Ayn Rand is the most amazing author ever or if you're voting for Ron Paul, then you should probably stay a good distance away from me or I *will* redistribute your wealth. You have been warned. Seriously, I don't want to have a friendly debate. Think good and hard about whether property rights are more important to you than human rights and then get back to me only after you've decided to be awesome.
