My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My friends used to tell me that I'm an "unkempt, intellectual hobo." There is probably more truth in that than I'd like to admit. Most of my life has been full of those stupid mistakes that you are supposed to learn the most from. At this point, logic would lend itself to me being the wisest man to grace the Earth...not so much. I've gone from extremes of being financially secure and "on top of the world" to living out of my car behind the IHOP I worked at; from earning a full ride at many major universities to barely scraping by at the local community college; from an emotional bulwark for my inner circle of friends to a horribly conflicted mess.

So, meh, I could have lied about my issues or left them out or "sugar-coated" them, but I figure anyone who'd be spending any meaningful amount of time with me would know about them one way or another. And that's the way it is. Turn about now if that's not for you. Other than that, I'm pretty much the coolest guy - ever.

I'm a person of contrasts; here's a few: romantic realism, benevolent malevolence, introverted extrovert, pacifistic forcfulness, spiritual disconnectedness, hopeful cynicism, freewheeling spendthrift, and many more, I'm sure. Message me, find one out for yourself, and tell me to add it to the growing list. One thing that I am unequivocally steady on is being individualistic. Everyone who meets me soon realizes that I march (and dance and convort and skip and flounder about) to the beat of a very different drum. I'm certain that comes across as prideful and vain, but I embrace that to be the truth without embellishment.

What I enjoy doing? Conversation, movies, talking about movies, music, talking about music, games (video or otherwise [just leave the mind games at the door]), talking about games, reading books, talking about books, anime, talking about anime, writing (prose and a bit of poetry still), talking about writing, computers, talking about computers, women, talking about women, philosophy/psychology, talking about philosophy/psychology, watching TV, and finally tal- ok, I think you've gotten the theme by now.

So, if anything here catches your eye, let me know. I'll check back here at some point and return the favor, if you deem to drop me a line.

I am Intelligent, Empathetic, and Opinionated
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Moved to California in April of 2010 (from Florida where I have lived my whole life) to start my life anew. Not ashamed or running from my past, but old enough now to know certain wounds will only heal with some distance. Now, I'm gainfully employed, getting my affairs back in order, and looking around for some productive trouble to get into. Know any?
