The short of it: I'm a kinky Pagan hypnotist who doesn't take herself too seriously. But beware. I tend to have a warping influence on people... I happen to think that's a *good* thing, mind you. "Normal" is about the worst insult I know.

I've been a derby girl for over two years now, and playing Roller Derby rocks! If you don't know about Roller Derby... well, it's a bunch of girls in classic quad skates, short skirts and fishnet stockings who roll around a track looking sexy as hell... and then we try to kill each other ! ;)

I sing and play mandolin, mostly folk music and weird funny songs. I'm not very good, but I enjoy it a lot. And I'm learning to play hurdy gurdy. It's a totally cool medieval instrument that's basically a violin with drones. One hand plays it with a keyboard while the other turns a crank. It sounds kind of like bagpipes. I also play a bit of bodhran and tinwhistle.

I've also re-started martial arts practice. All I can say is I am not practicing ninjutsu. If I were, I would be a ninja, and clearly, a ninja would never reveal they are a ninja. Thus I am not a ninja.

Hypnosis, NLP, puns, computers, and granting wishes. You think I'm joking, but I'm not. I'm quite good at it. As you can imagine, I'm far better at granting *other* people's wishes... even magic has its limitations.

HOBBIES: only some of which I practice at any given time -- belly dancing, martial arts, drawing, Irish tin whistle playing, drumming, mandolin playing, singing, chanting, divination, computer games, role playing games, massage, dancing, flirting, cult leader, magic, movie going, smithing, seith, seeing dead people, posing as a perky goth.

I favor urban fantasy books, movies with an occult theme, I like fantasy (magic!), sci-fi, horror, adventure, comedy. I prefer dramas in a sci-fi or fantasy setting. There's enough real drama in the six o'clock news.

MUSIC: Pop, gothic rock, Irish folk, almost anything with a good beat. I like happy bouncy music that makes you want to tap your foot or snap your fingers, dark wailing songs about the undead, and Pagan filk songs. I sing and play mandolin.

MUSICIANS: Lacuna Coil, Pink, Eminem, Aqua, Medieval Babes, Weird Al Yankovic, Great Big Sea, the recent Britney Spears, Lords of Acid. And a bunch more I don't actually own CDs of...

FOODS: I like variety. Buffets are great. Indian & sushi are some favorites. Food that other people cook. I'm very good at making breakfast, not so good with the rest. I'm a strict yummytarian. If it's yummy, I'll eat it :)

Hanging out with friends, or going to see a movie with them. I like fantasy, comedy, sci-fi, horror, action, anything with magic, anime, drama. I like dancing every once in a while, but mostly I like to hang out in places where I can hear what people say, and they can hear me. I like talking. And I like really intense conversations. Have you ever had an intellectual orgasm? :)

I think Weird Al Yankovic is really cool :) And, I'm like an onion. I've got layers. Or maybe I'm like a parfait... yeah, that sounds better. On top, I'm sweet and nice and caring. Underneath that, I'm an Evil dominatrix. And underneath that, I'm sweet and nice and caring. But don't let the Supervillainess Guild know about that last layer, or I'll lose my membership. Let's keep that between us, ok ? :)

And yes... for some people, I do have a more submissive side ;)

I'm not averse to dating couples, provided what they're looking for is a relationship. Meaning shared interests, friendship, love and emotional closeness come *before* any sex.

Traits I value: Intellectual, intelligent (they're not the same thing), weird, considerate, funny, adventurous, and especially cuddly and sensual. In the Montreal area. I'm interested in LOCAL people only. I need hugs. Hugs don't work over email.

I'd also say good looking, but really, whether you look good to me has to be judged case by case... though in general, I like long hair, and dislike buzz cuts.
