My Self-Summary
This is my self-summary, which is now of the required length.
What I’m doing with my life
The first half of each week, I work on this here site, writing the
tests and doing behind-the-scenes stuff like drinking water.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have blue eyes and lot of energy.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
My favorite books are Shelby Foote's three volume history of the
Civil War. The
best movie I've seen recently is Eternal Sunshine of the
Spotless Mind, but I still laugh to myself about South
Park. I really liked the Fiery Furnaces' first album,
Gallowsbird's Bark. Soup is my favorite food, both for cooking
and eating. I also like the program 'Law & Order'.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
(1) Napoleon, the
Confederacy, Henry Adams, and the British Empire. I read a lot of
history; especially 19th century history.
(2) Melodies
(3) Puzzles
On a typical Friday night I am
