I am prodigious, magnaminous, and indeterminable.

My Self-Summary

Not updated this in about 2 years so thought it was worth a re-shuffle.

I am currently unemployed, having just finished at Thorpe Park for the season. I am attempting to find an IT job, but no joy.

I really am a computer geek, and I am damn proud of it! I own a PlayStation and a telly, although I don't own an aerial to go with the telly. To be honest, I watch all of my shows on BBC iPlayer and the like, so an aerial isn't really necessary.

I enjoy spending time with my friends, occasionally I go out on a wednesday to Staines to have a few cheap drinks in Wetherspoons before going to the pub where the cool kids hang out. Yes, I am well aware that I am not one of the cool kids, being neither cool nor a kid.

Nostalgia is a wonderful thing. Whether it's seeing clips on youtube of TV shows you watched as a child, or hearing a song which reminds you of your youth, it creates the same warm fuzzy feeling.

I am certainly a firm believer in honour and respect. Manners and politeness are 2 things missing from today's society. I will hold the door for someone without even thinking about it, I give up my seat on a bus or train for a more deserving passenger... It doesn't cost anything but it helps.

That is all I can think to write here for now, I will try to update again in the future.

What I’m doing with my life

Trying desperately to break into the IT industry. So far it is going poorly, despite a BSc Hons in Multimedia Computing. Having spent 6 months working at Thorpe Park, I am now back at the job centre hoping in vain for new employment.

I’m really good at

Computery stuff. I can also listen really well, and can certainly do my share of the talking, even if it is occasionally random nonsense and/or obscure jokes or references.

The first things people usually notice about me

I am almost always laughing. If I'm not laughing, its because I'm thinking of something funny to say to make myself and other people laugh.

Visually, I guess my only standout feature is my belly (which took me 24 years to grow and I'm very proud of it!) and my furry face, which ranges from small, controlled patch of fluff to full-out Chin Afro.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My reading has dropped significantly recently. I can count the number of books that I've read this year on one hand. When I do get a chance however, I like to read autobiographies of people I admire, such as Ozzy Osbourne and David Hasselhoff. I am trying in vain to get into the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, but so far I have failed miserable, having read only the first book.

As for movies, I am always partial to comedies. My favourite movies of all time are Anchorman, Sin City, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Animal House and the like. There are exceptions to this rule, with a handful of action films being in my collection. I am far from a fan of horror movies, however I can enjoy them provided they don't try to take themselves seriously and I can laugh at them.

My music taste varies considerably depending on my mood. My main love is always going to be classic rock, along the veins of Ozzy, Def Leppard, KISS, Iron Maiden, AC/DC and the like. I am certainly not a massive lover of Hip-Hop, at least not modern Hip-Hop. I do appreciate early 90s Hip-Hop though, Run-DMC etc. I am partial to a slice of Trance every now and then, especially if I am going out, but once again it is only really the early 90s stuff that interests me. Other than that, I will listen to more or less anything.

Food is certainly a favourite subject of mine. I enjoy meat especially, I am most definitely a carnivore! I don't really like vegetables, although occasionally peas and carrots will grace my plate, albeit in small portions. Fruit, however, is another matter entirely, as I LOOOOOOOVE fruit.

I enjoy steak (medium), KFC, Chow Mein, Chicken Madras, Wagamama's, Nando's, Pizza... basicly all the food which is bad for you, chances are I will like it!

The six things I could never do without

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything, I overanalyse everything. My mind never stops. I think alot about the past. Not that I've done anything particularly bad, I just recall past events and wonder if things would have been different if I had done different things.

On a typical Friday night I am

It all depends on the mood I'm in. I'm certainly not of the opinion that I must go out EVERY friday night without fail. While I do enjoy a quiet drink with friends and the occasional mad night out clubbing, I'm also partial to a night in watching TV or movies. The fact that it's a friday night won't affect that.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I still don't understand the purpose of this box, nobody is going to admit anything that's actually private... I will admit that I have a purely heterosexual (although some would say abnormal) obsession with David Hasselhoff.

You should message me if

You enjoy intelligent(ish!) conversation, witty banter and can tolerate my obsurdity!
