My Self-Summary
I am a fun loving chick, and a huge geek, really. Went to
university and got myself a Bachelor of Arts (English and History)
and a Bachelor of Education. I love Joss Whedon, LOST, movies, reading, X-Men comics, music, old school WWE, UFC, HOCKEY, poker and most of all, road trips.
Nothing is more important to me than having a good time with my friends. I love having adventures, and never know what I will be doing from one year to the next.
Also, I have three tattoos, one of which is the Canadian Oylmpic hockey logo.
I am also addicted to X-Entertainment and love the like minded people I find there.

What I’m doing with my life
Last year I taught English in South Korea, and this year I am
teaching English at my old high school back home in Canada.
In my spare time I hit the road in my car... I feel the most free when I am on the road, halfway between somewhere and nowhere- I am where nobody can find me, but I am in the middle of life.
Also, I love looking up at the stars as much as possible.

I’m really good at
Hmmm...does reading count? I am a great student, and am working on
being a good teacher. I can cook a bit...I take a lot of photos,
and can draw a little too. No major talents, I guess. God, nothing
like a website survey to make you feel like shit.

lot! I love old 80s cartoons and quote movies a lot, too. I'm quite
friendly and love to laugh.

Favorite Books: Any Stephen King, any John Irving, the
Harry Potter series, Any Thomas Hardy, Chuck Klosterman, Chuck
Pahlaniuk, George Orwell, Shakespeare, and I really like the poetry
of Tennyson.
Favorite Movies: (1) Stand By Me (2) The Goonies (3) The Shawshank Redemption (4) Ghostbusters (5) Back to the Future. ALL 'STAR WARS' AS WELL. Also really enjoy Tarantino, the Coens and Scorsese. Lately, SERENITY rocks my face off.
Favorite Music: 80s Music, Metallica, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer,Tegan & Sara,Josh Ritter White Stripes, Arcade Fire, Oldies and any "feel good" music. I also enjoy a lot of indie music and like learning about new underground artists.
Foods: Poutine, Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Chocolate Milk, cereal, CANDY, coffee, and Pizza
Also, I think Firefly was one of the best shows out there, but there wasn't a TV option. (I don't watch much TV anyways- Books and movies are way better than TV)

1) Friends (2) Movies- I have a huge DVD collection (3) Music-
7,000 mp3s and growing...god bless the internet! (4) Nostalgia- I
love all things 80s, and collect 80s cartoon t-shirts, television

On a typical Friday night I am
Partying it up with a close gang of friends in front of an awesome
movie, or with hockey and great tunes playing in the
background. I love having people over to my house and being the
hostess- I make wicked nachos.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Jeez...even though I went to university for all those years, got
the Education degree and am now teaching...I don't think this is
what I want to do for my whole life.
