I've lived in the South and on the West Coast in the past few
years, and I've got to say the South wins!!
I've loved
psychology since I was like 15, and I
love talking to people and making people smile. I argue a little
too much, and I talk a little too much too. I'm loud when I should
be quiet, and quiet when I should be loud.
I really get pissed when people are judgmental about Christians.
Just because I love
Jesus doesn't mean I don't love gays,
think pot should be legalized, or understand what you're telling me
about the 13 guys you screwed when you got drunk last weekend. I
love people and I'm a huge
optimist, and I think that is largely
because I know a God who loves people and sends me good messages
about the world.
I write; I listen to
music; I play classical instruments but no
guitar or anything. I'm a nut about spelling and grammar (pen pals
with sum1 who tipes lik dis? nothxbbq). I'm crazy for
Monet and
Dylan Thomas. I listen to
emo,
punk,
pop-punk, pop, hip-hop, a little rap,
a little country, oldies, a little jazz, a little choral,
rock-alt, rock, goth
rock, a little grunge, and contemporary Christian/Christian pop. I
don't listen to speed metal, reggae, or disco. I don't like the
colors orange and brown or cherry-flavored candies and medicines. I
like drawing, but I'm not an artist. I can write when I'm
depressed, but not when I'm in love (so that means I can't right
now).
I'm 5'2.75" and slim in build. I have longish, wavy hair that gets
a bit frizzy in Southern humidity. Brown eyes, a few tiny freckles,
dyed hair (who knows what color it is today?), pierced ears and
navel.

This paragraph is only interesting if you're big on music: My taste
in music is incredibly broad. My playlist spans from 3 Doors Down,
50 Cent, 311, A New Found Glory, A Perfect Circle, and Ace of Base
... down to ... Weezer, The Who, Wilco, Witch Hunter Robin, The
Wonders (um yeah, from the movie *That Thing You Do!*), Yellowcard, and Zero 7.
Stuff I listen to you may never have heard of tends to be indie
rock, but good examples are: The Album Leaf, Ani DiFranco, Ben
Harper, Big Blue Monkey, Broken Social Scene, Built to Spill,
Cursive, Dar Williams, The Decemberists, Delerium,
Dir en Grey, The Early November, Elliot
Smith, Fear Factory, From Autumn to Ashes, The Get Up Kids, Good Night City,
Grandaddy, The Jealous Sound, LetterKills, Mindless Self
Indulgence, Mirah, My Chemical Romance, Poe, Portishead, Sense
Field, Senses Fail, Sufjan Stevens, and a bunch more
I've listed down in my faves. :)
I have a BS in psychology and, because there isn't much that will
do for you career-wise, am working in retail.
English. I think. And geometry. And pissing people off by arguing
too much.
