I am sardonic, smart, and hysterical.

My Self-Summary

I love literate people.

I was teaching English, but now teaching Computer Based Literacy in Queens, NY. (Yes, Part of NYC) I teach middle school. Some people would find that daunting. Yet.. deep down inside, they're good kids. I love my job.

I'm a music and movies addict. I love sports.. football and baseball especially

I read. I read a lot. My friends think I'm nuts... but what is an English teacher supposed to do, knit?

I love sarcasm, cartoons and dancing. I dont watch too much TV.

I'm thrilled living a simple life.

I'm looking to publish a book... 5 simple rules for a guy to follow to make a girl happy.

I think it works. Wanna publish me? :)

Update: I'm not on here too much! If you would like to contact me, e-mail me at ldigeorge@gmail.com. This will also prove that you have read my profile. That would make me incredibly happy, too ;)

I'm very happy with my current situation (Read: Seeing Someone), but I'd love to make more friends! Friends are a lot of fun!

Send me an e-mail. C'mon, you know you want to!

What I’m doing with my life

PhD Student and Teaching. Is there much more? I have no life. :)

I’m really good at

Writing, Making People Laugh, Pointless Trivia, Pointless Games (Bowling, Pool, Darts, Ping-Pong), Sports in general.

The first things people usually notice about me

My hair (anal about it), my "sad, puppy dog" eyes and my million dollar smile.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Kissing in Manhattan, The Virgin Suicides, My Antonia, Siddhartha, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Giver, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil... I have many.

Movies: Casablanca, Cube, The Usual Suspects, Moulin Rouge, Fight Club, The Game, Defending Your Life,

Music: The top songs heard on my IPod are....

My current favorite songs are: Angels on the Moon by Thriving Ivory, Chasing Pavement by Adele, Show Me What I'm Looking For by Carolina Liar, I'm Gone, I'm Going by Lesley Roy and Dancing Choose by TV on the Radio.

Food? Sushi. All day. :)

The six things I could never do without

Music, Love, Friends, Family, Laughter and Sarcasm

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I spend a lot of time thing about the world, and the way we are affected by the things that happen in our world.

The Butterfly Effect, I guess. Here's why.

I'm a teacher. If I go and help a student see the light, have I just altered the world in such a way that is incomprehensible to me?

Could I have just created the next president? the next Hitler?

Or on such a smaller scale, have I just altered the future of one person? Maybe made him/her feel mor confident in themselves, ultimately causing them to marry a different person? Incredibly scary.

They say that you change the life of the majority of people you come across. Ultimately, that's frightening.

I hope I'm doing a good job.

On a typical Friday night I am

Bowling? Chilling with friends? Relaxing? Downing a cheap bottle of wine? Choose your own adventure. :)

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

...you'll get a whole slew of fun stories if you message me :)

Also, I own the Hanson CD. (Middle Of Nowhere) I also own many other CDs that you wouldn't appreciate.

You should message me if

...you want a whole slew of fun stories :) Seriously, you should message me... If you are halfway literate, you wanna chat about music, you're bored and just feel like chatting. Bah. You don't need a reason to message me. Do it if you feel like it :)
