At the top of the screen they are telling me to punch a rapper to win a free Ipod or something like that. And to be honest, it doesn't sound like a good deal.
I want to save the world, and have a lot of fun in the process. I do data entry during the day (I process personality tests!) and I'm a grad student in the evening.
Ok, apparently this OK Cupid thing (formerly the truly awesome Sparkmatch!) has me pegged as someone who is very "pure" and "mathematical." Doesn't that just spell out SEXY to you? "Whoah, check out that hunk over there! He looks so pure. Is that a slide rule in his pocket?!?"
I took a test recently which told me I am... messy, disorganized, not rule
conscious, rebellious, rash, weird, ambivalent about chaos, likes bizarre things, anti-authority, not good
at saving money, not a perfectionist, leaves many things
unfinished, low self control, strange, desires more attention,
romantic
daydreamer,
abstract, impractical, unproductive, leisurely, likes the unknown.
In other words, the kind that your mom will just love. Actually,
moms always do love me.
I have to say something. OkCupid is not the real world. OkCupid
conversations are not real conversations, OKFriends are not real
friends. They can lead to real friendships, but that friendship
requires shared space, a shared vision. It requires stepping out
from behind the keyboard.
If you aren't willing to take another step, I will at some point be
calling you a coward. Or a fool. Because I'm nice like that.
One of my favorite things to do is to click on "BAD Matches" and send them messages like "Hey, we're a horrible match... want to get together and make demon babies?"
