I am a dreamer, enthusiastic, and hopeful.
My Self-Summary
Hey, I'm Dante. I'm an English major from
Vassar College looking for a new job. I
graduated in May 2007, and focused in
medieval literature. I also
read lots of
comics
(and let's be honest, lots of books too) of as many genres as I
can, which I suppose makes me an endearing geek. ;-) I'm an
Eagle Scout
who's still heavily involved with Scouting and I love
hiking,
camping and
rollerblading.
What I’m doing with my life
-Paying off my student loans from Vassar
-Working tech support for a major cell phone company. It only sort
of blows, unlike customer service, which just blows.
-Going to Southern CT State University part-time for Library
Science.
-Working part-time at SCSU's library.
-Volunteering as Assistant Scoutmaster and Advancement Chairman for
BSA Troop 138-Naugatuck
-Being a ninja
-Patrolling the streets of Paragon City (bonus points if you know
to what I am referring without Google-ing "Paragon City")
-Trying to maintain a semblance of a normal social life.
I’m really good at
Being a (comic book) geek. Cuddling. Hugging. Listening. My job.
Hating my dentist. Seeing the good in people. Being awesome.
Playing padiddle.
The first things people usually notice about me
My hair. It's thick and everyone likes it. It's shorter now than in
any of my my profile pictures (perhaps a little longer than Nathan
Fillion keeps his hair), but everyone still likes my hair.

The six things I could never do without
Something to read, the internet, my siblings, TV on DVD, something
to do, my dog.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Comics, the things I've read, the economy (who isn't?), stories I
want to read, life, the universe and everything.
On a typical Friday night I am
Video games with the dudes from work.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
How about I just give you odd quirks?
---I have a man-crush on Nathan Fillion.
---I sometimes pretend that my college ring is a
Green Lantern ring.
---I have a slight obsession with The Food Network's "Unwrapped"
simply because it's hosted by Marc Summers. "Double Dare" and "What
Would You Do?" were like the staples of my childhood.
You should message me if
---you don't mind geeks/geeky things
---you ARE a geek or a geeky thing
---you enjoy intelligent conversation
---you got through this novel that I call a profile
