As well, whenever I make definitive statements about myself, the universe has a way of making me eat humble pie. Therefore, I can't say stuff like 'Oh, I'm not like that at all' or 'I'd never do THAT! 'Cause the next thing you know, I'm proving that I AM like that, and I COULD do that, usually in some highly embarrassing public manner.

I love blaming everything on the fact that I'm a Gemini. It's as good an excuse as any.

I can be irritatingly introspective sometimes.

Although I was born and raised in Newfoundland, Vancouver is my home, and I love everything about it but the weather. But I'm only happy when temperatures are tropical and temperate, so I'm hard to please that way. My friends accuse me of keeping my home thermostat at a constant 25 Celsius so guests will be forced to take their clothes off for sheer self-presevation. I must admit, that is a perk. ;)

Although I like to be independent and autonomous, I am a people person who goes batty if she doesn't have at least 2-3social days a week.

I've been called eccentric by more than one person - yesterday. Oh hell, let's be honest. I'm nuts. I do spontaneous crazy shit on a regular basis, and I'm unpredictable and impulsive. Do not message me if you do not like being kept on your toes, m'kay?

I'm a total social butterfly, and a fun-loving hedonist. I spend a good chunk of my time hanging out in polyamory, BDSM and pagan, and disability rights movement, and I host rope bondage gatherings, which are currently on hiatus. Meanwhile, I fill the void by beating, mocking and humiliating my darling boy.

I'm attending school with the intent to get a web design degree, and I'm sure I'll eventually graduate. Right now I'm taking time off to take care of my health, as I'm recovering from ankle replacements. It's nice to relegate the canes to the corner of my apartment! Now I just need 'em for whacking people. :P

Getting people to confess their deepest secrets, or wildest fantasies. Corrupting the innocent and repressed - well, only the ones who want to be corrupted. Getting people to think outside the box. Making people laugh. Putting together outrageously vampy outfits. Double entendres. Flirting. Speed reading. Dancing. Making people feel welcome, accepted and valued. Bringing people together and being a bridge between diverse folks and groups. Entertaining. Being endearingly bad-ass.

If you only see me from the back, definitely my long hair and my ass. I've been told that my ass was made for spanking. I'd suggest you not try to spank me, but it's flattering nonetheless. My partners seem to be unable to keep their hands off of it.

Once I start talking people notice that I'm extroverted and craaazy, but most people seem to find it charming or amusing.

People also sometimes think that I'm shamelessly self-promoting and rather vain. But then, I did weep tragically at the story of Narcissus. A little narcissism can be good for the psyche, after all. Hmmm, maybe that explains why I'm 96% compatible with myself when the next highest compatible score was 85%. I guess I'm in love with myself. So you should be aware that I already have a primary partner who gets most of my attention- ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a) Favorite book genres - fantasy novels, sci-fi, Pagan and New Age books, Victorian lit, classical Greco-Roman lit, and sometimes children/teen books. Dirty books....er, I mean books about alternative lifestyles and sexuality. Self-improvement and personal development stuff. Books about health. I confess to reading trash sometimes too when my my mind is taxed and I need brain candy. So don't chide me about my V.C. Andrews collection or I'll hurt you.

Favorite authors are David Eddings, Anne Rice (especially her erotica), Robert Heinlein, Terry Goodkind, LM Montgomery, Jane Austen, and CS Lewis, Christopher Pike and the Brontes.

b) Fave movie genres - Fantasy, epic, comedy and horror. LOTR, Princess Bride, the Mask of Zorro, the Evil Dead series.

c)Favorite music genres - Classical, dance, jazz, techno (especially trance), funk, rock, disco, R&B, soul, world music, New Age, instrumental. Basically, I like everything but gangsta rap and death metal. My musical tastes are pretty diverse, and sometimes just plain terrible. Lemme put it this way - I want to be The Next Pussycat Doll in the worst way. Admittedly, it`s mainly so I can sleep with Ashley and Nicole and have an excuse to dance around in fetish gear. Not that one needs an excuse. I just adore music, period. I love to sing, and I'm taking piano and guitar lessons, and you can frequently find me being a diva at karaoke bars.

d) Fave food - Turkey dinners, Indian, Greek, Italian, marachino cherries, Mexican, Thai, and Japanese. I'm very adventurous with food and will try just about anything except octopus (I like them too much to eat them). In other words, I've stopped eating most Western food. Fortunately for me, I live in a city comprised hugely of world cuisine. And, although it's not a favorite food, I find myself craving moose meat quite a bit. Damned Newfie upbringing.

I must confess, I'm not a terribly private person. I often debate if there's such a thing as 'too open' and whether or not I fall into that spectrum. I have been called the Queen of TMI more times than I can count, which amuses me; my first two names roughly translated mean 'Queen of Boundaries!'

I don't really want anything right now, not dating, sex or new friends. I have a very full plate right now, and can't even keep up with my existing social life! However, I'm keeping the profile up for when I have more free time or a less full dance card. You never know. :)
