I am clever, nervous, and mostly awake.
My Self-Summary
(This is my old profile. I made a new one because after a while,
you stop showing up in QuickMatch and stuff, or at least that's
what I heard. I still respond to this profile, so don't
worry.)
Hi! I'm currently a drama major at Queens College, and I'm also in
the Benefit of the Doubt Theater Company, employed as a struggling
playwright.
I love comics, and you can even read my own little comic, called
Some
Notes for obscure and pointless reasons.
I'm on this site looking for a girl who's a good conversationalist.
Really, just someone who honestly listens and responds to what a
person is saying.

Yo hablando solamente un poco de español. Que lastima! Anaranjado.
What I’m doing with my life
Holding a job, writing scripts, swordfighting whenever possible and
appropriate, participating in the market economy, drawing,
excitement, adventure, and really wild things.
Now in Spanish
Trabajar y juegos de video.
I’m really good at
Climbing tall
things, and as a byproduct of such,
landing without
breaking my ankles, holding my breath, wry humor and
non-sequiters, and talking.
Making a water drop
noise with my mouth while wearing chapstick, stealing things in
videogames,
convincing
people I can actually swordfight.
Imitating
accents, spending money poorly,
dreaming larger
than my ambitions, staying calm in awful situations, making
lists of my attributes.

The first things people usually notice about me
The waves of pure charisma just rolling off me. It forms a sort of
halo.
That, or my eyes, the standard response to this stupid question.
What's funny is that after a while, people start to notice that my
eyes don't stay the same color. They go from a pale blue to a
bright green depending how much sunlight I get in a given day.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
(a)Pretty much anything, especially
Kurt Vonnegut,
Chuck Palahniuck, and
Stephen
Brust. I've also been reading a lot of
Rudyard Kipling's stuff.
I'm also an
Alan
Moore whore.
(b)All types, favorites being "
Trainspotting" and "
Shaun of the
Dead." I really love watching crappy movies, ones where a
secondary character exclaims that there is "
no such thing as
ninjas!" at some point, then ironically dies by ninja
violence.
(c)All, preference for the
The Grateful Dead,
The Aquabats!,
and
The
Mountain Goats. I really do like all genres of music, but there
are certain artists I hate the hell out of.
(d)Anything that isn't raw broccoli.
Shit sucks.

The six things I could never do without
A
marble
notebook and
pen
(that counts as one), my
eyes,
soft-soled shoes, some way to
tell the
time (this
includes the sun), and a
Metrocard.

Un boligrafo y un mrable notebook, etc., you get the idea.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything. I
get most of my thinking done in the shower, or while walking. I
walk about three miles to work in the summer, just to get a little
time inside my own head.
I think about the nature of the universe, self-improvement, what I
would do if I had a better paying job, how mechanical objects work,
love, sex (I am a man, after all.), mortality, and what would
happen if social order across the United States broke down.

On a typical Friday night I am
Either working, or hanging out, or forcing myself to do something
creative and take it seriously (
this is rare).
A good Friday for me is going to a friend's house, drinking and
talking till four, and finally collapsing on a convenient
bed/futon/clean spot of floor.
An even better Friday is a good date, with dinner and a walk.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
Once a girl broke up with me to try and go out with my
best friend, who was
also a
girl.
This was one of my more "strained" relationships.

Yo no soy marinero. Soy capitán.
You should message me if
You want to get together sometime, and you live in
New York City (not NJ or
LI), and you can hold up a fair
conversation. I love going to
diners for some
reason, so, you know, there's an idea.
If unable to think of anything good to say, message anyway, or
include a well-reasoned response to any or all of the following
questions:
1) What super power do you want and why?
2) Can doing wrong to bring about good be justified? Following
that, can it be forgiven? Following that, can it be
encouraged?
3) What is your zombie escape plan? (Can be substituted for Russian
invasion escape plan.)
