My Self-Summary
At the risk of this profile being too long, I'll simply say that
I'm rather emotional and reserved, can come across as aloof since
I'm a bit cynical of society, but am generally a kind and caring
person, especially to anyone who appreciates me for my more
introvspective, thoughtful, loving nature. The rest of this profile
shall consist of some profiles that might explain me better and key

What I’m doing with my life
Hoping to become a writer. And attending Rutgers college.
I’m really good at
Writing! And
procrastinating, but having
everything work out in the end.
Also,
giving
advice and showing people that I
care and making them feel loved.
The first things people usually notice about me
I guess my
eyes? I
usually get nice comments on them!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books:
Oz Books,
Ethan Frome,
Lucky Man,
To
Kill A Mockingbird,
Jan Eyre
Movies:
Back to the Future Trilogy!
Lost in
Translation,
Terminator 2,
Ghost,
The Wedding Singer, lots of
others ...
Music:
Linkin
Park,
Green
Day,
Disney
songs (LOL, that's really geeky of me, isn't it?), lots of others -
I like all sorts of music from pop to rock!
Blink-182,
Beatles,
Oasis,
Goodnight Nurse,
McFly,
Jimmy Eat World ...
Food: Erm, is it weird that I don't really care about food? I do
have a sweet tooth and really like
chocolate! Yum! And I became a
vegetarian
recently. I would have probably died in a hunter gatherer society.
I'm one of those weird guys who doesn't like to see thing get
killed.
TV Shows:
The
Office,
House,
It's Always
Sunny in Philadelphia,
Daily Show,
Colbert Report,
South Park (although last season
was kind of crappy),
Futurama, first 3 seasons of
Family Guy, the new
Doctor Who, NBA
basketball, especially
Nets,
I Love Lucy,
MST3K, older
Simpsons,
Seinfeld,
Friends ...
I also feel the need to mention that
cheeky is quite possibly my favorite
word. But I've recently become fascinated by lots of
British slang that's not
used in America.
My favorite color is
red. It is the bestest.
The six things I could never do without
I'm going to change this to the six things I really like having in
my life atm:
Family (annoying as
they can be a times, often they are my only solace)/
friends, computer/
internet (Jeez, I am
addicted to this thing),
iPod (singing out loud is fun),
imagination,
chap stick (I am a
chap-head),
hope
(pushes me forward on my worst days).
I'd add
love, because
it's so important to me, but it turns out I can live without it.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future. If I'm ever going to get that love stuff I'm looking
for.
Recently my friend has gotten me looking into
Christianity. I had always
believed it was a bunch of bullcrap, but I've wavered and come to
believe it. I don't feel the need to push it on other people,
though, as I'm still trying to figure it out, and religious
preference doesn't mean much to me, as I've straddled both sides of
the fence. I would never attend church though. I don't like being
preached at. No siree.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing absotutely nothing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I've never really had a girlfriend. I know, tis lame. I'm really
not all that bad looking (think I'm rather cute) and though I'm not
a manly type, I think I'm a really great guy. So I'm not sure what
the deal is. I've felt really
rejected in life which may have lowered
my self-confidence. Though I'm shy and not a great public speaker,
I do believe in myself and am determined to find someone who sees
the good things I see in myself. So I don't really have any desire
to not be shy, as I think it's a great quality to have.
In short, I like myself, it's the rest of the world that seems to
have a problem with me! Le sigh.
You should message me if
I try not to discriminate against anyone who takes the time to
message me, but you should probably only do so if you think we have
some stuff in common. If you're shy, sweet, caring, heartfelt, etc,
I would absolutely lurve to talk with you, so drop me a line. I
tend not to respond to messages that are just one line and might
not reply if I feel pressured to be interested from the getgo. I'd
rather be friends first, and I have no problem talking to anyone
who is only interested in friendship. I love my friends to bits and
would not object to having more if there's no romantic
interest.
But don't be shy. I won't bite ... hard! ;)
