I am crazy, open-minded, and sarcastic.

My Self-Summary

I'm socially liberal. I've big on things like feminism, animal rights, gay rights, and racial equality. If this turns you off then please go search for the profile of Ann Coulter instead. I don't mind middle of the road people, but if you are the kind to utter the words "be tolerant of intolerance", then...I repeat my last request. I'm a huge dork for fantasy, video games, fixing things and figuring out how they work, and bad reality TV. I like men and women but I am never lucky enough to meet my type of girl. I get irritated easily, but I also laugh easily. I enjoy being around awkward people and guys who aren't Mr. Smooth Moves (although it's great if done for comedic effect). I'm never cruel to people but I make fun of a lot of stupid and ignorant things.

Oh, and I'm a Cubs fan.

What I’m doing with my life

Going back to college for a bachelor's in information technology. Cuddling with my kitty. Trying to figure out how to be more social and meet the kind of people I actually like (dorky people, people who like to laugh, people who aren't up their own asses).

My dream is to own an animal shelter or at least a piece of land large enough to house many pets, especially old, sick, or otherwise "unadoptable" ones. If I could, I would spend a large chunk of my time and money volunteering in animal shelters or rape/domestic violence crisis centers. What I don't plan on doing with my life is having any children.

I’m really good at

Spelling. Reading. Overusing parentheses. Doing cute little voices when talking to animals. Sarcastically smacking people down. Being kind of a loser while still having fun. Fixing computers.

I used to draw a lot, on paper and on the computer, but unfortunately not so much anymore. I always want to get back into that, but I almost find I love the thought of drawing more than I love drawing itself, these days. I'm also decent at web design (another potentially growing talent I haven't taken advantage of), and I play piano at a gradually decreasing level of skill.

The first things people usually notice about me

My boobs? No, my boobs aren't that special. I laugh a lot...also this question depends on if I am drunk.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Flatland: A Romance of Many Dimensions (more on this two questions down), The Princess Bride, American Psycho (far superior to the movie), Harry Potter, To Kill a Mockingbird, Carrie (and others by Stephen King), The Lottery: And Other Stories (and others by Shirley Jackson), Lolita, most stories by Roald Dahl, Fahrenheit 451, The Vagina Monologues, Invisible Monsters, etc.

Movies: The Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings, Pan's Labyrinth, Ichi the Killer, X-Men/Wolverine, Haute Tension/High Tension (and many other horror movies), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Requiem For a Dream, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Star Wars, Stand and Deliver, The Lion King, Stranger Than Fiction, Borat, etc.

Music: I listen to a lot of Japanese rock music and video game stuff. I like rock in general, and many genres of metal. I'm fascinated by all the sub-genres. I'm especially partial to the cheesy epic/power metal stuff, like Power Quest and Sonata Arctica. Some rap/hip hop is good (The Roots, Slick Rick, Lupe Fiasco), including artists I get made fun of for liking, like Snoop Dogg and P Diddy. Sorry. I won't say "I like everything but country" (horrible cliche!), but I will say I bet I can find something from every genre that I like.

Food: Chinese, Thai, pizza, sandwiches, pretty much everything else. Does Jager count?

I'm going to copy my friend and include TV too, even though I don't watch much anymore: The Soup, Golden Girls, Roseanne, The Office, Family Guy, Arthur, Project Runway, Frasier, and anime on occasion.

Might as well throw in games too: Final Fantasy (especially VI and Tactics), Chrono Trigger (and Cross), Xenogears, Diablo series, Call of Duty, Super Metroid, Tetris Attack, Kingdom Hearts, The Sims, Disgaea, Suikoden, Mario, Kirby

I completely forgot to mention how much I love xkcd the comic, so I'm going to throw that bit of miscellany in here.

The six things I could never do without

1) The internet
2) My dorkitude
3) Awesome sex or the prospect of awesome sex or really bad fanfiction about awesome sex
4) ~*~Draco Malfoy oh god he's so dreamy!!~*~
5) Video games
6) Animals/pets. Especially BEAGLES!

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Time travel. What it would look like if the universe didn't exist. Why the hell people haven't progressed to the point where gay marriage isn't an issue for debate. Contradictions in the Bible and popular religion. Why Axe commercials suck so much. Why so many girls I know of play video games but "girl gamer" is still considered an oxymoron or a weird badge of honor. Food. Sex. Buying things. Why I'm an excellent speller but one or two stupid words always manage to trip me up. What month it currently is (I'm horrible about that).

Oh, and that book I listed above, Flatland. It's narrated from the point of view of a square who lives in a two-dimensional world. He eventually visits a one-dimensional world, and gets exposed to the third dimension. The way the worlds are described is amazing, as well as the connections in society in Flatland and the real world (the way women and "irregulars" are viewed, for one). Also, it gets me thinking about what worlds of higher dimensions would be like, and how you would describe them to someone. If anyone has read this book and likes talking about that sort of thing, please message me!

On a typical Friday night I am

Gettin' freaky. Or playing a video game.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I like to pronounce "ask" like "axe" on purpose. I used to be Internet Popular. Also, I once dated a Juggalo.

You should message me if

You're a dork. Or you think I'm hot shit. Please don't message me if you see the word bisexual and immediately turn into a drooling idiot. Please DO message me if you're a dorky girl (or guy, but not nearly as many girls send messages) who has some things in common with me.
