My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Good Omens, Hitchhiker's Guide, the Discworld series, Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency, American Gods, Ilium, Hyperion series (though potentially without Hyperion), and comic books.

I've gotten into a habit of making fun of movies, but none really stand out. I did enjoy the Spirit, it was a quirky, entertaining mix of styles.

I tend to watch more TV than movies, like the many classic sci-fi series: Star Trek, Stargate, Doctor Who, Seaquest DSV, Sliders, Battlestar Galactica, and Bablyon 5. Comedies like MST3K, the Simpsons, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, and the Venture Brothers.

I like various genre's and bands. Flogging Molly, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Boston, Gaslight Anthem, and lots of other random songs. I just started listening to TMBG.

Pizza, burgers, lasagna, pulled pork sandwiches. I've started trying to cook new dishes without going in over my head.

The six things I could never do without

My computer(s), my little sister, gainful employment, my debit card as cash is for chumps, the interweb, and whatever video games have my attention at the time.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

What I would do if I had a time machine. Like visiting the BBC archives circa 1963-1970.
