I love traveling (usually far away, off the beaten track), connecting with people, and capturing photos of things and people that inspire me. I like fire, I like caves, I like ruins, I like to explore places where few people go. I prefer using two wheels (motorcycle or bike). I've been going to the Burning Man festival several times, taking amazing photos of the art and the people there. You can see them at www.playa-dust.com . I'm now considered part of the Burning Man official photographer's team.

I am frank, honest and truthful, and I expect the same from others. I am very loyal to my friends. Some of my best friends live in Paris, where I am from. I love Europe, especially France, Spain and Italy. I can afford to take a lot of free time and I travel several weeks every years. I love traveling and adventure, especially when I can do that with someone I get along well. I also like windsurfing, skiing, spelunking / caving, urban exploration, late night dancing in underground venues, exploring San Francisco on my motorbike (a KLR 650), hiking and lots more. I don't generally identify as monogamous but I'm not sure to be polyamorous. I tend to be attracted by boyish, androgynous, queer women, bi or lesbian (ouch!).

You: You like to smile and are happy with life, with yourself, even when not everything is perfect. You have nice eyes. eyes are important to me. That's the first thing I look when I meet someone. I also like eyebrows and lips. Trying to be happy. By doing things that inspire me, connecting with people that inspire me, and doing my little part to make the world a better place.

I'm good at taking photos of people and places that inspire me. Especially artists, and people with which I have a good connection. I am a visual person, I am inspired mostly by what I see. I am good at traveling in remote countries with basic or no tourist infrastructure, often by my own, i.e. adventure travel. I am good with computers and the internet, since I've been working with them all my life. In fact i have seen the development of personal computers unfold from the very beginning, like the commodor 64 or the apple II, the failed apple "lisa" (I had one at work!), the first macintosh 128 (wow, with a 20GB hard drive!), the Amiga... that was fun!

i'm good at hitting the "dead to me" button... maybe too good at that?

Physically, I've been told I have a nice smile and nice eyes.

I don't read novels / big books much anymore, hard to find the time and to keep the focus, I guess. I still read a lot, e.g. on the web, blogs, news, etc. I like european-style comic-books - called "bande-dessinee" - which are adult-oriented, artistic and literary or poetic, and have nothing to do with american-type comic-books. they are very big in france and belgium, and almost impossible to find in english version.

When I was younger I was going to the movies a lot, several times a week. I don't like watching movies on a TV or computer screen. I have seen so many movies and there are many that I love, so it's hard to name a favorite. I like mostly independent / small productions movies, european / japanese / chinese movies. I rarely see a blockbuster.

Music... I keep discovering new artists or new genres that I like. Lately, Tory Amos, Tiken Jah Fakoly. I like the trans scene mostly because of the cool people there.

I like about all sort of food, but I rarely eat meat (I'm becoming vegetarian). I like asian food, thai, sushi, pakistanese, indian, carribean, cuban, european, spicy food, anything healthy and tasty. fruits! When I travel, I like street food, local specialties cooked on the sidewalk. I try about everything local when I travel.
