My Self-Summary

I'm a Jersey girl. I feel that I have a very eclectic taste when it comes to music, movies, books, food, and I guess I'm willing to expand on those. I'm also emotional, caring, sweet, friendly, funny and shy. I'm a bottle of contradictions. I like sports, and I can't stand guys who don't like sports. I like the Yankees Cubs and Philies for baseball, football its the Cowboys and when they don't make the playoffs its all about the Patriots. When it comes to hockey its the Flyers. And I guess a good ending to this would be that I'm focused on my health and finding a job right now.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm trying to live my life the best I can. I'm going for my dreams which means finding a job in my chosen field now that I have my MLIS, it also means figuring out where I stand with my writing and seeing if I can write a novel.

I’m really good at

I couldn't think of anything...so I ask some friends and I guess they said what I would say if I actually took a minute to think instead of just turning to them for the answers...and they all said the same thing. I'm good at being friends, networking, listening and socializing. (I think I just said the same thing reworded four times, does that count as something to be good at, being able to use different words to describe something. I'm also good at writing. (This was proven when a student publication at school published a story and poem I wrote and I've gotten really great feedback.)

The first things people usually notice about me

I've been told my eyes (I don't get it, they are normal brown eyes and I think they look a little evil looking when you just look at a close up of one), my smile (I don't smile a lot so I guess when I do it's a big plus) and my personality (I can either get along great with people or we just don't mesh).

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Again there is my eclectic taste. I read everything from romance novels, to classic stories. I like Stephen King, Nora Roberts and other entertaining writers.

I like nearly all kinds of movies. I like to be entertained when I'm watching a movie, but every once in awhile I don't mind getting the shit scared out of me.

I like nearly all types of music, my music library covers a wide range of music, and I'm always adding to it. Right now the most played music on my iPod is a mix of country, The Beatles, Bon Jovi, and a mix of current hits

Food..Italian, Spanish, and wide variety of others, I'm almost always willing to try new things.

The six things I could never do without

books (i need them to survive)
my family (the whole extended family sometimes included)
love (it makes the world go round)
friends (the stability in my insane life)
freedom (i got to be the me i want me to be not the me others want me to be)
and my imagination (its the best place to be)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

everything, it depends on whats on the news, whats going on in my life and what i'm reading. sometimes i find myself thinking about whats out there in space and if there is anything outside of space and where it ends and whats all the way out there and all that kind of stuff.

On a typical Friday night I am

Typical Friday nights?? It really depends on my mood and what friends are around...I could be doing anything or be anywhere. If I'm home I'll be watching Numb3rs that's a given and anything I've DVRed during the past week.

I'm scared of cornfields.
