My name is Soup. I am an individual who thinks along his own paradigm. I have a basic respect for decent human beings no matter what race,religion,creed,sexuality,nationality, or cartoon preferences. I'm a passionate person about my writing as well as pleasant company. I don't mind talking to any interesting open-minded person on just about any subject. I have confidence in myself enough to understand I'm not perfect and I'll never know everything. I'm the Heathen Hedonist. I'm honest because playing games with people's heads is only for malevolent people with no self esteem. That said, I'm interested in meeting people for physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and psychic relations though preferably combinations of any of those. My appearance is that of your standard Goth-Rocker but I have an open enough mind to relate to anyone who is benevolent despite appearances, personal style, and tastes.

I write for a local rock/metal rag called Crave Magazine which allows me opportunities I would not otherwise have. My future plan includes supporting myself writing but presently I'm perfectly happy just having a byline.

Turning a phrase. Giving a different perspective on situations people might not have thought of before. Using my senses to enjoy life. Listening to people.

My Gothy appearance. My knowing smirk. It has been said I have an air about me which makes people comfortable despite looking like I just stepped out of a Skinny Puppy show.

I have to say I love comics. I love using both sides of my brain on a story. Some of my favorites are: Transmetropolitan, The Sandman,Powers,Planetary,JTHM,Lenore,Alias(The Jessica Jones Alias not the comic adaptation of the Jennifer Garner show....if that even exists....which I don't think it does..ah well),The Crow,From Hell,( butchered by the movie like most of Alan Moore's adaptations),V for Vendetta,and lotsa others... Ok printed word books I like Neil Gaiman's novels, The Diamond Age or A Young Ladies Illustrated Primer by Neal Stephenson,Poppy Z. Brite's work(She creeps me out),and Jo Rowling's Bispectled Little Doom Boy and His Nosy Ass Powerhouses of friends, 1984, Stranger in a Strange Land, Cryptonomicon. For movies Run Lola Run is my favorite movie ever, V for Vendetta, American Splendor, Equilibrium, True Romance,Ginger Snaps 2,What the ..$%^ Do We (k)now??!,In the Company of Wolves,HellBoy, Ghost World, Sin City, Gypsy 88, Six String Samurai, PANS LABYRINTH. Music is way too expansive to even begin to list so I'll just say that while goth/industrial music is my favorite, I have an open mind enough to have tastes way outside of those genres. I typically prefer female artists but if it's good and I like it then that's all I need. I love pocky.
