The (Federal Reserve's) Financial Literacy Test

You're doing pretty well. You probably know enough not to be taken advantage of in ordinary situations involving money. Thanks for being part of the solution. You probably know the importance of financial knowledge, so I won't hit you over the head with how good it would be for you to know more. You might be interested to know that the national average score for American high school seniors in 2008 was 48.3%, down about 4% from last year. I don't have any information about the standard deviation, unfortunately.

And since this is a dating website, let me also throw out that you are probably capable of bringing something extremely important to your relationships: financial stability. Most relationship problems arise out of differences over money. You have the capacity to make sound financial decisions as long as you use your head, and you are probably capable of talking intelligently with your mate about those decisions. Be patient, and willing to subject your financial instincts to reason, and you'll be able to integrate your relationship's income, assets, and goals very effectively.

There's an answer key with explanations in my journal, but... don't cheat. You're only cheating yourself.
