Their result for The Science Myth Test ...

70 % Science Prowess

If you scored below 60%, chances are you did not take advanced chemistry. The sun question was eliminated. Thanks to those of you who emailed me detailed explanations of why the question was unfair, you convinced me. And remember- never stare into the sun, or use vague language. I've replaced it with the brain question (thanks to the taker who suggested that). Due to numerous requests, here are the answers: 1 No- Bacteria freezes too, and is just as alive when it is thawed. The only way to kill bacteria in food is to cook it completely. 2. No-The Coriolis force (caused by the Earth's rotation) may affect large swirls, such as hurricanes and whirlpools, but not something as small as a bathroom drain. 3. No-Despite rumors, saltpeter (KNO3) is a diuretic, which means that it makes the body get rid of water. The other saltpeter, (NaNO3; calcium nitrate), is used in gunpowder. 4. Yes- if your intention is to get drunk. Alcohol is alcohol, regardless of what other flavors accompany it. 5. No- think about it. If you're close enough to a bird to put salt on its tail, why not just grab it? 6. No- We use all of our brain (at least most people). There is no scientific proof that we use only 10%. 7. Yes- Dermatophagoides farinae live off dead skin cells, and can be a problem if you're allergic. Wash that bedding in hot water at least weekly to avert these nasty creatures. 8. No- its the shrinkage of the skin that makes skin and hair "appear" to grow slightly after demise. 9. No-it all goes to the same place anyway. Religious teachings may prohibit mixing certain foods, but there is no current scientific basis for doing so. 10. Yes-it's just that their prey (rodents) are night creatures, so owls have to work the night shift.
