Their result for The Cluster A Personality Disorder Test ...

High scores

You scored 10 Paranoid, 12 Schizoid and 16 Schizotypal

Each point represents 1/2 a 'symptom'. You scored above the cutoff for all three conditions. This test is not diagnostic, but indicates you may have one or more of these conditions. All three of them overlap somewhat (mostly schizotypal overlapping with the other two) and are possibly related to schizophrenia. Schizoid personality may be a milder relative of autism/Asperger Syndrome or may be more related to schizophrenia. Schizoid people are not very sociable and may have either decreased emotions or a tendency not to show their emotions readily. Schizoid personality + Obsessive Compulsive personality (Cluster C - anxious/depressed personality) is basically indistinguishable from Asperger Syndrome, although many AS people don't meet criteria for that combination (particularly OCPD). Schizotypal personality is related to schizophrenia, but much milder. The relationship is evident in an elevated rate of schizophrenia in schizotypal people and their extended families (an estimated 30% of schizophrenic people fit criteria for schizotypal personality before they became schizophrenic). Schizotypal people are unusual people, with strange beliefs and behavior patterns, who tend to keep to themselves and are sometimes paranoid. Paranoid personality is related to schizophrenia (20% of schizophrenics met criteria for this before they became schizophrenic). A similar behavior pattern has also been described as a 'projective anger style' in which the person, rather than acknowledging their own anger at someone, instead believes the other person is angry at them when they actually aren't. The accuracy of this theory is unknown. Paranoid personality is not actually delusional - the person doesn't believe in elaborate plots involving things like the CIA or space aliens - but instead the person has non-delusional paranoia, believing things which would be reasonably expected to happen, but at a lower frequency. For example, they may believe that people acting friedly to a romantic partner of theirs are planning to cheat on them, or people making innocent comments at work want their job. All those are things which do occur at a fairly high frequency, but not as constantly as the paranoid person believes they do.
