The What Type of Psychological-Type Job Field Should You Enter Test

You have tied with equally high scores in all of the areas(at least those I tested) of psychology career paths. Business Congratulations! You scored high on the business side of psychology. Industrial/Organizational Psychology, as it were - the highest paid psychological field(excepting doctors. Oh, MDs.) With a BS degree in psychology you can go right away into the HR part of a business. With something a bit more (MS, or the bigger, badder, PhD) one can travel throughout the country working with companies consulting for their HR issues. Or you can work with a team in a consulting firm in order to better tests and measurements(you know, the test you had to take to get into whatever job you have right now). And yeah. Psychologists make those. Cool, huh? Therapeutic Woah! You ended up scoring high on the therapeutic portion of psychological jobs. You should try to work at a mental rehabilitation center, either as a residential counselor or as a therapist. As a therapist on your own(or working in a hospital or center), you have many different options including: sex therapy, marriage counseling and children's counseling... If you opt for more schooling, you could get either a Master's or a PhD, or even an MD. (wooo...being able to prescribe prescription medications...) Educational It seems as if you like-a-da research. Good. I do too. (not that it matters) You would probably like teaching. Either at the high school level (prolly go for a master's degree) Or at the community college/four year college level. You will be extra successful in this area if you are really creative. This will get your research published. Which, sad to say, is one of the A-numero-uno things on a wanna-be-Professor's to-do list. (haha, one more dash in that sentence and I would have imploded. seriously.)
