True Irish
...understand. You bleed green. You've taken an active interest in Irish heritage, and you know your own genealogy, as well as a bit about Ireland herself. You probably come from a family of very proud Irish who have passed down family and culture lore through the years (and if you don't, it speaks to how strong your pride really is. Impressive.)
You don't take much truck with the stereotypes people associate with the Irish, and while you might tolerate the Plastic Paddies who honor their (or your) heritage one day a year, you don't respect them. You're not wildly confrontational, so you usually try to politely correct people when they spout misinformation about Ireland or being Irish, but it CAN get your goat after awhile.
Friend and Foes: You do best with other True Irish, and also get along with the Pious Irish, who respect the cultural and religious backdrop of St. Patrick's Day. Avoid those most egregious perpetrators of negative Irish stereotypes, the Drinking Irish and the Fighting Irish.
