Well, I would certainly enjoy your help in the kitchen! It seems you know your way around it. In case you were wondering about that egg thing, if it floats, it's bad. Here's a recipe for sugar cookies: 2 cups flour 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 2 tbsp milk 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla extract [already doubled from original recipe] 1 egg Measure all ingredients into a large bowl. With mixer at low, beat until blended, pausing occasionally to scrape bowl. Shape dough into a ball; wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Freezer--40 minutes or refrigerate 2 hours or less. Roll out on wax paper. Cut and bake at 400 degrees for 5-6 minutes.
