The Could You Help me Bake in the Kitchen Test

Well, well, well! I am sure I would love to have your help in the kitchen--it seems like I should be helping you! Not that you need another one--I'm sure you have more recipes than you can shake a stick at--but here's my favorite sugar cookie recipe: Here's a recipe for sugar cookies: 2 cups flour 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 2 tbsp milk 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 tsp vanilla extract [already doubled from original recipe] 1 egg Measure all ingredients into a large bowl. With mixer at low, beat until blended, pausing occasionally to scrape bowl. Shape dough into a ball; wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate. Freezer--40 minutes or refrigerate 2 hours or less. Roll out on wax paper. Cut and bake at 400 degrees for 5-6 minutes.
