We Just Clicked
It almost seemed to be cosmic intervention.
I had put up an ad on Craigslist. My future boyfriend, Jay, saw it - but was resolved not to contact anyone off of there because he thought it would be creepy. A few minutes later, he logged into OkCupid, and saw an account with the same picture of me featured on his front page.
I was on OkCupid at the same time. I saw the alert letting me know that he had landed on my profile. I checked his profile out - and it clicked. Within minutes we were IMing each other and making ourselves laugh.
We went out on a date a few days later. Then another one. Then another one. We've now been going strong for over six months now, and we're both very happy.
