Keath and Cyndi
The word "Love" isn't enough...
Neither of us were actually looking to meet anyone... we were both on OkCupid just to have fun with the quizzes. She e-mailed me one day saying we had a lot in common and that she liked my artwork, which I had posted in my profile.
We e-mailed and messaged back and forth for the next couple of days before I got enough nerve to ask if I could call her. By this time, we had already reluctantly fallen for each other, and fallen hard!
I remember that I kept saying to myself, "This is too good to be true".
The first time I called her, it was at about 10:30pm. We stayed on the phone talking until the next morning. We had to hang up because both of our kids had to go to school. Thank God I had free long distance on my phone! After 2 or three more very lengthy phone calls, we decided we HAD to meet.
We met in a public place 5 days after she sent that first e-mail, in a city half way between her town and mine. After that, we just couldn't get enough of each other. On my days off, I drove to her place and stayed for a few days and she would come to mine on the weekends.
By the end of October, she had moved in with me. Today, we are still going strong. We can't stand being away from each other. We call each other when I'm at work just to say hi.
We're getting married, and we just had a beautiful baby boy.
I can honestly say that I have never felt what true love really was until now. I consider myself to be the luckiest person on earth to have found her. The word "Love" just seems to fail to fully describe the feeling.
