Could You Have Prevented the 2008 Credit Crisis?

  • In this test, you will be scored based on how close your answers were to the actual policies that lead to the '08 credit crunch, and how consistent you are with your policies.

     

    It's very short, just 9 questions... so a little longer than the TARP application.

     

    If you read the Wall Street Journal or othwerwise have an understanding of what happened, answer as you would have before the collapse.  Hindsight is 20/20... and it's cheating.

     

     

    Also, you might think this test is very basic if you have more than a casual understanding of the events of 2008.  I know.  A test that used words like "Mortgage Backed Securities", "Credit Derivatives", and "Collateralized Debt Obligation" wouldn't be very accessible or fun for anyone.

     

    Or it might just be because I only understand the general concepts, and not the specifics...
