HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS BOSS ARCHETYPE: These types generally deal with themselves - because they're not too bright, you can generally blame them if something does go wrong. That said, they're not a particularly nasty or mean-spirited type of boss, so you might want to try keeping them around if you don't need them to be especially helpful. If you do need your boss to be someone that can come to your aid, it might be worth finding ways to make him/her look bad: the blame game works nicely, but you can also try hiding his/her things when he/she isn't looking. Your boss won't suspect you.
