Oh, you know you heard it, or it's been said: "You're "Just a *PUP*" Not referring to your age but your high energy, playful nature. Pup's may still live with a parental unit or rely heavily on someone's support. Not being a sponge, but to 'dig' themselves out. (or to bury their bone for a later date) PUP's are mature with foresight and a logical reasoning and a youthful disposition.

Mature: Yes, a wise life lessons maturity but a curious nature.

Young: Your youthful & playful nature tends to get your nose rubbed in '_ _ it' on occasion.

Reasonable: Great reasoning and a good deal of seasoning, but still doing a lot of sniffing around as pups do.

Outrageous: With your youthful nature you think you might be a bit more daring ... but your maturity and logic only allows for a staying in your own yard. (I can see you venturing outside the yard, but only running back with your tail tucked)

Pup's love to change speeds, going from curious to napping ... from jumping to humping ... to eating then getting a beating. Curiosity leads them into strange places, but their survival (maturity) instincts leads them back into their own yard. They like to leave a 'mark' to show they've been places. Prefer a familiar surrounding but will often end up "in the dog house" from getting too far into someone else's yard.

Often running into older 'Junk-Yard Dogs' & younger pups. Your chronological age aside, you are still a pup at heart and spirit. Playful and ever so curious about things but with a good deal of experiences. You know when not to do something that might get you a rolled up paper smack on the nose!
