How good of a Calvinball player are you?

Welcome Calvin & Hobbes fans. It's time for a game of Calvinball.  A knowledge of Calvin and Hobbes is very helpful but not required for this test.  For the purposes of strategy, assume that you are playing against Hobbes in this game.  You'll be tested on two basic criteria.

1.  Do you know the rules of the game?

2.  Can you come up with a winning strategy?
