• When Plato wrote The Republic, he designated a special class of people to rule over his utopia--the Philosopher Kings. They were lovers of wisdom, and they tried to rule over the people fairly, determining what was best for the land.

  • It does, however, steal the name and use it completely out of context. Here, Philosopher King is an oh-so convenient title used to describe my ideal man (while philosophy might show up in this test, it's really more of a compatibility test).
