• Hi! And welcome to my Danish party political Test. I'll be using advanced logic and knowledge to determine your true nature.

I've often been wondering how the Danish political parties compare to those of other countries. As I write this the Danish general election 2005 has just taken place, and I've found an opportunity to write a simple test to find out. I hope it works.

The test consists of only five questions which have been much debated during the election campaign. And based on your answers to those questions I try to determine which Danish party or parties covers your views.

Of course I know that our political views are usually more complex than that. So just remember that it's not a scientifically correct test.

FYI: I have included nine of the ten parties that put forward candidates for the election in February 2005. They are listed below after size in the parliament.

    Venstre (V)- The Liberal party
    Socialdemokraterne (SD)- The Social Democrates
Dansk Folkeparti (DF) - Danish People's Party
Det Konservative Folkeparti (K) - The Conservative People's Party
Det Radikale Venstre (RV) - The Social Liberal Party
Socialistisk Folkeparti (SF) - Socialist People's Party
Enhedslisten (EL) - The Red/Green Alliance
Kristendemokraterne (KD) - The Christian Democrates
Centrumdemokraterne (CD) - The Center Democrates

*Traditionally* the parties are placed on a scale from left to right as follows:

Far left: The Red Green Alliance

Left: The Social Democrates, Socialist Peolple's Party

Center: The Social Liberal Party, The Christian Democrates, The Center Democrates

Right: The Liberal Party, The Conservative People's Party

    Far Right: Danish People's Party

    Good Luck :-)
