    If your response is, “Fit for what?” you are asking the right question. Physical fitness means different things to different people. Take this test to see where you fit. We all know that 1) having a resting heart rate less than 80 beats per minute, 2) being able to reach a maximal heart rate, during exercise, of at least 80 percent of the difference of 220 minus one's age, and 3) during the first minute after exercise ends, having heart rate decline by at least 12 beats per minute are good indicators, but this is an easier way to determine your level of fitness.
