After recently moving to New England, I've started to feel a little bit self-conscious about being from the South. Southerners are mostly portrayed as backward, racist, ignorant, and downright trashy by the other regions. And while the South certainly has its areas to work on, so does the North, the Midwest, etc. It's unfair, elitist, and classist that people think all Southerners are stupid.
So this is a different sort of test-- about some lesser-known aspects of Southern history and culture that I hold near and dear. Are you a true-BLUE GRIT? Or do you think you could handle dating one? Well, take this test and find out!
