The Jorge Luis Borges Fiction Test

This test examines your knowledge and recollection of the short stories of the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges. Works alluded to are from the books of short stories published before 1960; there is one question about The Maker (El Hacedor) and one bonus question from The Book of Imaginary Beings (El Libro de los Seres Imaginarios). Otherwise, there are no questions about Borges works written after 1960.

The questions and answers in this test contain multiple spoilers for Borges stories, including questions about the premises and plot devices of several of Borges's greatest stories. If you haven't yet read these stories, you may not wish to attempt this test.
