The Lay-Science Literacy Test

These days, the media can seem like a regular smorgasbord of scientific misinformation and misinterpretation, often to the point where it can be difficult to know when coverage of new findings are oversimplified or biased in how they're delivered. This test is intended to indicate whether or not you, as an individual, are able to tell the difference between good science and good marketing. The hope is that by pointing out discrepancies, you'll be able to make more informed decisions based on what you hear in the future when it comes to health, politics, and goods consumption habits.
