The Lord of the Rings is extremely popular worldwide, both as a novel and a film trilogy. But how well do you know the differences between the two? For the most part, Peter Jackson stayed true to J. R. R. Tolkien's original story. However, like all books that are adapted into movies, a few changes were made here and there. I don't wish to use this to argue about whether these changes were good or bad. That's an argument that could go on for weeks. This test is simply here to determine how well you know the differences between the novel and the film.
Note: For the purposes of this test, I am referring to the extended editions of the films.
