I don't like Obama, but you're still an idiot.

Jan 26, 2013 4:52am

Voting for someone that represents you is not racism.  It's called democracy.  As far as I can see, I don't see Mitt Romney representing black America very well.  Get over the fact that the only people that voted for Mitt were a small minority of fringe wackos.

Jan 26, 2013 5:43am

skip or barry were very poor choices.  If we are still solvent in 2016, Rand Paul could possibliy lead us out the long fiscal winter.

Jan 26, 2013 9:15am

lefty, wrong. They say white people are all racist if they choose someone white over black. Look at how they even claimed Romney and W were racist. Notice that the people affected by Sandy, mostly white, have STILL not got their power back. Remember when kanye accused W of being racist during Katrina? Then that means Obama must be called racist during Sandy, as all he did was use the victims to help him win re-election and then has totally ignored them while MILLIONS still have no power, three MONTHS after it happened.

Jan 26, 2013 10:48am

It is amazing to me how much of an issue race is is in 2013.  Green is color that interests me the most.

Jan 26, 2013 1:08pm

It's an issue because Obama has polarized everyone. Race relations are much worse now than before his election.

Feb 2, 2013 8:37pm

I find it quiet funny that more than a few times in our great history people would vote or support a group based strictly on their race. BUT black people voting for the President is some how evident of how incredibly racist black people are as a group. The people who say this are over looking a few very simple facts.

1. IF every black person voted TWICE they could NOT have voted President Obama into the office of national dog catcher. WE as a group just do not have that kind of power.

2. Next you will have to decrease the number of black people voting for President Obama as the right to vote is taken away from people with felonies. So that subtracts from our voting pack and blows your limp penis idea out the water.

Why is it when black people talk about race we are playing the race card...(got love that term) and when white people talk on race they white people talk about race they are just stating fact (even if they are made up fairy tale facts)? I would say that was racist but then I would be playing the race card. I really would love to know how many of your have read black me? And how many know a young reporter attempted to repeat the experiment in the 1990's and was only able to make it a week before abandoning the experiment.

And I love how the only time you hear about lynching from white people is in reference to the number of abortions black women have. NEVER hear about it in SCHOOL. If lynching are so damn important that we must speak of it WHY not teach it in school? TEACH the children why taking life of the innocence is wrong. And if it is wrong to kill unborn children HOW about hanging the mother then cutting the baby from her then stepping on the baby until it too was dead? OR hanging the mother and let's her body hang until the baby stopped moving?

I can honestly see you justifying any thing. Hell you already do. BTW. More than black people voted for the President. IT appears than more than few non black people think he represents them also. AND to make a point (besides the one on your head) WE did something NO other country has ever done. WE elected a black person for our leader. Many of the leading countries of the world have had women leaders.... VERY strong ones. NONE have had a black man or woman. Rather than be proud that we are finally doing what we have always claimed we have people very angry because he is black. WOW

It must be nice to be so delusional and one sided.

Feb 3, 2013 1:38am

Like I said, many black people themselves admitted voting for him onyl due to him being black. It's not me assuming, it's me simpyl repeatign what THEY said. Tons and tons of celbrities admitted it, fore xample. And under normal circumstances people never celebrate a president being elected in thew ay that people have celebrated Obama, acting like it's a party. It's simply (mostly) people who want to "get even with white people" and they look at him being elected as some victory against white people, somehow. I never think for a second about being racist or "getting even with black people", so why are so many black people mad at current white people as if we did what happened hundreds of years ago? I haven't done anything bad to ANy black person and have many black friends.

Feb 3, 2013 6:13am

So Smashing

In order for black people NOT to try to get back at white people we would vote for the person white people tell us to??? When do we start to think for ourselves rather than be monkey children following the dictates of our natural Masters? I really feel sorry for you and your kind. YOU think in order for you to be the best all others must be less. YOU don't want to work at being the best YOU think you are entitled to it based strictly on your skin color. It was the birth right of your forefathers and you can not understand why it is not your birth right.

YOU are a white man. In history you were king,  conquerors, and GODS. Now you are reduced to the normal. And this upset you. You are full of bitterness, envy and hatred. Why oh why couldn't you have been born at a time when all you had to do was be white and male and all odds were in your favor? LOL oh well curse that white god of yours for NOT being so kind as to give you that. BUT I do think YOU might thank him for not placing you 200 years in the future. Love Louis CK tells it like it is and he is funny at it.

OH by the way. Have you ever gotten laid??? You strike me at the 40 year old virgin without the sense of humor. It is not pretty dude.

Feb 3, 2013 6:40am

Nice to see Ms. Comely making an appearance from the murky waters.  Good points about barry, as we see on this forum ; plenty of caucasian shills.  Yanno , just a reminder that the fiscal right has quite a following of AA's.  From Walter Williams to Allen West.  There always has been and always will be a voice for economic freedom from the AA community.  The only way to racial esteem is through profitability. One of the many entities that "guvmint" does not have the means or where with all to provide.   Although Mr. Obama and family make a very attractive presidential picture, barry's policies , in time, will injure poorer minorities more than perceived enemies of the black community could ever dream.

Feb 3, 2013 9:23am

Having black friends does not mean that you're not racist. I'm not sure if you know this but the whole "I'm not a racist. I have lots of black friends!" thing is such a hackneyed response that most black people are disgusted when they hear it. There are lots of people who have no black friends that aren't racist. We are not pets that people can collect to prove that they're not ignorant bigots. You cannot use the amount of black friends you have to measure how "not racist" you are.

Saying that Obama only got elected because he's black is ignorant. A monkey could've beaten Romney. As a matter of fact, Romney beat Romney. Everybody was scared of Romney because he's obviously a weirdo. The only other alternative was Ron Paul (whom I kinda like actually), but he's too radical for most folks. That's why Obama won. Not only that, but we all (should) know that the people aren't the ones who decide, it's the electoral vote that decides. If that's a problem for you, then you should go out and vote for people whom you believe will not make such a terrible decision as to vote for someone because of skin tone.

Feb 3, 2013 2:17pm

I find it very hard to believe YOU Have any friends of any race or any gender. I would find the belief in a god easier to accept than the idea of YOU having people who actually like you.

Let's be real YOU could give a fat rat's ass about what happens in the black community. And his economics's could NOT do any more damage to my community than Reagan's did. I seriously doubt that our current President will come into my community and deal drugs to pay for his dirty little war. So stop with the fake concern for my people. THEY have survived in spite of MUCH WORSE PRESIDENTS we will be OK. In fact we just might come out on the other end of this in a much better position than we were before.

Excellent point. WE are not pet to be collect to ensure that everyone knows a person is NOT a racist. I am often shocked at the number of black people who accept racism from white people. The world is still full of UNCLE Tom ready to step and fetch it for the white man.

Feb 3, 2013 3:27pm

First off, having black friends DOES mean you don't hate back people, clearly. That's why it's always dumb when people laugh at the statement "I have black friends". Theoretically they could still have stereotypical views of some sort, but what kind of person hates someone and is then friends with them? lol. It amkes zero sense to thus mock when people mention that they do have freinds of whatever race, as indeed it does prove lack of hate or judging. Secondlt, dark is really being kind of nuts in her assumptions. She has assumed incorrectly on many thigns. Before Powell turned into a moron, I would have voted for him, for example, so clearly I am not afraid of an African American being President. However, Obama is a racist African American, and is very bitter towards white people, as is clearly shown in his book. He also hates republicans and thenw hines they don't agree to every single policy he wants in place. He is trying to control people even more than past presidents, as well. Also, nobody told you who to vote for, other than the general liberals who tell everyone else to vote for their dummies also. Nobody ever said that if you're black and vote for a black guy, it means you're racist. it's MOST of them who ARE racist, though, as they voted for him BECAUSE he is black. Voting for someone BECASUE he is black is racist. And what has he done to help any black person to begin with? The past white Presidents helped more african americans.

Feb 3, 2013 4:15pm

Ok so put up the statements in his book that shows the president hates white people, which would include his MOTHER AND HIS GRANDPARENTS. So hating republicans is evident of hating white people because the republican party is the party of the white people???? And why would you vote for Powell? What did he say that would have made you think he would make a good president?

As far as the black friends statement. Thomas Jeffereson was sleeping with his slave; and having children with her,  when he wrote the following:

[1] The first difference [between whites and blacks] which strikes us is that of color. . . . The

difference is fixed in nature, and is as real as if its seat and cause were better known to us. And is

this difference of no importance? Is it not the foundation of a greater or less share of beauty in

the two races? Are not the fine mixtures of red and white, the expressions of every passion by

greater or less suffusions of color in the one, preferable to that eternal monotony, which reigns in

the countenances, that immoveable veil of black which covers all the emotions of the other race?

Add to these, flowing hair, a more elegant symmetry of form, their own judgment in favor of the

whites, declared by their preference of them, as uniformly as is the preference of the orangutan

for the black women over those of his own species. The circumstance of superior beauty, is

thought worthy attention in the propagation of our horses, dogs, and other domestic animals;

why not in that of man? . . .

[2] They seem to require less sleep. A black, after hard labor through the day, will be induced by

the slightest amusements to sit up till midnight, or later, though knowing he must be out with the

first dawn of the morning. They are at least as brave, and more adventuresome. But this may

perhaps proceed from a want of forethought, which prevents their seeing a danger till it be

present. When present, they do not go through it with more coolness or steadiness than the

whites. They are more ardent after their female: but love seems with them to be more an eager

desire, than a tender delicate mixture of sentiment and sensation. Their griefs are transient.

Those numberless afflictions, which render it doubtful whether heaven has given life to us in

mercy or in wrath, are less felt, and sooner forgotten with them. In general, their existence

appears to participate more of sensation than reflection. . . .

[3] Comparing them by their faculties of memory, reason, and imagination, it appears to me,

that in memory they are equal to the whites; in reason much inferior, as I think one [black] could

scarcely be found capable of tracing and comprehending the investigations of Euclid; and that in

imagination they are dull, tasteless, and anomalous. It would be unfair to follow them to Africa

for this investigation. We will consider them here, on the same stage with the whites, and where

So you will excuse me if I say YES a man can have friends of another race and still be a racist to his core. A man can sell his own children because they are mixed then he can do pretty much anything, including lie about his love a group he has befriended. In fact many of the people who advocated the freeing of slaves recommended the very laws that enslaved then again. And yes Jim Crow laws were a form of slavery.

If hating the republican party makes one a racist there a great number of white who would be racist against their own. Get over it. You have a limp penis argument. I suggest you get it some Viagra.

Feb 3, 2013 4:27pm

There ARE physical differences in races!!! That's simply fact. it's not "racist" to state observations such as if he thought they needed less sleep (even though that one may be BS, for all I know). Also the republican party is for all races. And plus if you say it's the white person party, then I culd simply say you're racist for not supporting it.

Feb 3, 2013 6:23pm

Ah not so fast there Ms. Comely.  The nature of my business requires me to sell property in a specific manner.  Very few of my customers look like me.  I do have a very distinct interest in the the success of the AA community ; mine.  My retirement ; my daughter's inheritance both depend on my customers doing well financially.  So, you see, you do not know everything about us evil whites from the suburbs now do you? How can the "plantation" economy be desirable for any race?  FYI, NAACP figures put unemployment for black people 2% higher under barry.  Reaganomics simply employed more folks of all races.  The problem of "unwed" fathers is worse under barry than any other president.  Give the inception of o'care ; more black babies will succumb to infanticide than ever before.  Wait, did you say the AA community will fare better with barry at the wheel?  Really?  Let Stevie Wonder drive.

Feb 4, 2013 4:14am

Most black people voted for President Obama because he was the Democrat. It's that simple. Blacks mostly always vote Democrat. Saying they voted for him just on account of he's black is REALLY stupid. The Democratic Party just supports more policies that most blacks also agree with. Like fairness for one. Like not only being for the most wealthy in this country. Like being more against starting stupid wars. Like education. Like jobs. etc

Feb 4, 2013 5:52am

Very generic, Trish.  Mr. Hawkins , an AA gentleman in Detroit, owns a tremendous amount of fast food restaurants.  Probably employs hundreds.  What do you think his spin on o'care would be?  Cap gains?  Coercion effects all races.

Feb 4, 2013 6:31am

What's it matter. He probably votes republican. If he was a Democrat he'd be FOR the idea that no one should go without health care in the richest country in the world. He'd be FOR the idea that income is income, whether you worked for it or got it from investments.

Feb 4, 2013 3:45pm

Trish sure has a tough time reading. Or paying attention to the news to see how many african americans, celebs and non-celebs, say they wanted a black President and they celebrate it like their race won something. Clearly, it was not about political beliefsa, thus why Powell and Rice voted for him across Party lines.
