"He invited me to a picnic. Said he will bring fruits and chocolate (on Venus altar?). I’ve volunteered to bring tea and muffins. Location:"

THAT is so cool! Can't wait to hear your version of the date and wish I could hear his.

If someone is the same age or age group as my sons, I just can't do something with them, other than be friends. It feels 'icky' to me.

Wanna get icky with me, Sandy?

There are sticky rollers that should collect fur

Oh, the first thing he did was to eat up the sticky roller  :)

^ is this 29-year-old a doggy?

Wanna get icky with me, Sandy?

NO, screwball, but you'd be Hella fun to party with!

Can't wait to hear your version of the date and wish I could hear his.

Well… here’s my version:

I picked him up there we agreed to meet and drove to the sea. Then I’ve done what I haven’t done for ages and he took a few pictures. After that he pointed out a place on the rocks that he said was more protected from the snow – it was -4 and snowing slightly, but almost no wind – we settled there, drunk tea and ate muffins and fruits, and talked. Then snow started to fall heavier and we left. The whole thing took ca 2 hours.

And yes, I’d also like to hear his version :)

i wont date anyone over the age of 28

Feb 10, 2013 1:32am

Yes, was the first that crossed my mind too. But then I decided to treat the subject liberally – plus/minus a year isn’t worth much ado, is it?

Feb 10, 2013 2:20am

Very nice, Tule! So...you'll see him again?

Feb 10, 2013 11:37am

We agreed to meet next Saturday. But…

He’s everything I’d wish in my date, only if he wasn’t that young. It doesn’t feel gross anymore (thanks for all support), but it doesn’t feel tempting either. There is a psychological barrier, rather a wall to put it straight, that I don’t want to climb over.

My first intention was to follow with the tide and let him lead this ship to harbour completely on his own. If he’s that enthusiastic. If he decided to jump the ship, I wouldn’t pursue the matter, neither would I take over the bridge. Changed my mind after the date. He’s a nice human being, didn’t do me anything wrong and it would be unfair to treat him in any other way, but straight. I’m going to tell him that there will be no relationship. Easier to do it on the net, fairer – in person.

Don’t know how men manage to convince themselves, that a relationship with a women who age-wise could’ve been their daughter, is fine. I can’t. But again, I’m not a man.

Feb 10, 2013 5:33pm

We convince ourselves about all sorts of things, Miss Tuleful.

Just like you do.

Feb 11, 2013 1:11pm

Oh? Very intriguing… Would like to share the wisdom?  :)

Feb 11, 2013 1:51pm

Frankly, I've pretty much already done that on this thread, Miss Tulefel.

Sorry to hear your younger suitor situation didn't work out.

Feb 12, 2013 12:17am

Tulefel, could it be that there was just no chemistry for you? That it wasn't an age thing, but that you just had a nice date with a nice person that you would rather be friends with than sleep with?

Feb 12, 2013 7:42am

She has to simply ask herself if she would have felt differently if he were her age.

If she's judging a person she likes mostly because of a number she might be cheating herself.

Feb 12, 2013 4:49pm

Or worse, she might be fucking herself!

Feb 13, 2013 10:59am

I haven't seen anyone accused of being one step away from a pedophile for being interested in a 29 year old.

How about a 40 year old going out with a 20 year old? Or a 38 year old going out with an 18 year old, or better yet a 17 year old where it's legal?

The general consensus among women on this site that if there is any significant age gap between an older man and younger woman, then it's "creepy" and yes, I have heard a couple of you start playing the pedophile card.

But if it's an older woman going after a younger man then it's "Hey, you go girl, get your Cougar on!!".

Just one more double standard hypocrisy put forth by the females on OkStupid, and women in general.

Feb 13, 2013 11:09am

^I said a twenty-nine year old.

Feb 13, 2013 11:42am

I heard what you said and qualified it by other examples, you fucking illiterate dumbass.
