I know that OkCupid sends you a message when somebody puts you on his or her Favorites, but is there a way to see all of these users in some kind of list format? Like a "Users Who Have Favorited Me" page?

I want to know how to remove people from my favorites

^ Go to their profile, remove them from your favorites.  Similar to how you added them.

^^ They can choose for you to not get a message.  No way to see who has you saved though.

Actually, it only sends the message if the person adding you tells it to.  A lot of people like to do their stalking of you anonymously. ;)

And you can remove someone from your favorites through a message from them, assuming they have sent you one.  Just click on the button "Remove from Favorites" in the body of the message.  Has the benefit of avoiding stalking someone if they just broke off contact with you.  :-)

I may be the one blind user here (I'm a noob so I'll use that as my excuse)-- but where do you find the list of peeps you have "favorited?"

It's on the left side of your screen, in the side bar, underneath "Quick New Friends" and above "Stats". If you don't see any, click "Toggle Offline"

Got it. Thanks.

So, the original question doesn't have an answer? I can't see who has marked me as a fav unless they email me or let me know with a notification? Hmmmm

^It has an answer, the answer is no. You can't find out everyone who has saved you as a favorite and when someone saves you, they have the option to do so anonymously.

I doubt okcupid would put a page where you can see who has added. You'll just have to hope that they wanted you to know that they added you.

i think there should be a way to see a list of who has you on their favorites, but only if they have given permission for you to know that (sent the message about it).

I agree.

add a list of who has added you as a favorite (un-anonymously) please. you have a list of favorites for the user, it should be just as easy to compile a list for vice versa.

I agree. I want to see a list of those who have agreed to share that they've favorited me.

I 'favorite' a lot of people when I'm searching through profiles and find one I like.  This doesn't really mean anything, other than I use the favorites list as a storage box for people I may shoot a message to if I find the time, which I usually don't.  I never let them know, as they aren't necessarily my favorite people, just interesting enough to bookmark.

One good indicator that someone has saved you, is that they consistently visit your profile shortly after you edit it or load a new pic.

Oh good point.

I also favorite a lot of people.  My "favorite" list is about four pages long now.  The only thing they have in common is that I want to be able to find them again.

You see... the OK Cupid match search doesn't show ALL your matches. Ever.  In fact, it seems to skip over quite a few of the better matches. Check out the Help and FAQ forum some time, there's something about it that pops up every week or two.

I keep this list because I want to be able to find good profiles again.  Also, I then see a "Remove" button if I look at the profile again, so I know whether or not I've checked them out before.  This can be important for some of the less memorable profiles that I wish would get more original.

I don't tell the ladies that I've saved them, because apparently ladies seem to think that marking them as a favorite without writing them a letter is the same as building a little shrine to them, taking photos of them from bushes, and breaking into their house to steal their panties or something.  It's not.  In fact, a lot of them are on my favorites list because I thought "Well, this might be promising," but I didn't think "WOW, she's amazing, I need to write her this instant!"  Or... if I did, I couldn't think of anything wortwhile to write her.

My Favorites list tends to have people who answered very few match questions, who don't have a lot of clear photos, or who have rather general profiles.  I like to leave them there for a few months to see if the profile will someday give a clearer picture of what sort of girl might be on the other end.  Once I actually start messaging with someone, they go OFF my favorites list, because now I can check out their proflie from the messages.

I'd rather not tell anyone that I've saved them to some huge waiting list of not-quite clear profiles because there's a chance I might like them in real life.  Of course, every time I add a favorite, there' a chance I get careless, and hit the green button to let them know.  They certainly never write me back about it though.

You listen to talk radio, don't you?

I wanted to ask a variation of the original question; is there any way I can remove my profile from someone else's favorites? I'm trying to meet people around my age for friends and whatnot but every time someone favorites me, it's this 35-50yr old guy with no picture or no information or both and it just creeps me out because most of those guys let me know I'm on their favorites but never talk to me or anything. It's like the age range you put in your profile doesn't even matter to them.

Can someone help me out?
