why do you think Obama won?

I would go with #4

Nov 9, 2012 6:36pm

They're all right except 5. If they considered him not a Christian they woulda voted fro him even more because liberals love bashing Christians, since they're jealous of them.

Nov 9, 2012 7:32pm

because god hates republicans.

Nov 9, 2012 7:37pm

Romney lost because the RNC gay married the teabaggers. That is all.

O 7) the voters refused to allow the GOP to steal another election.

"Cancell their primaries for 2016* and all the republicans can register as democrats and vote in the democrat primaries for the worst democrat, i.e. someone who is so unelectable he will be easy to beat."

Chaeddd, the Republicans used this trick to get John Kerry nominated and steal the 2004 election.

They did this trick a 2nd time in 2008 and got Obama nominated. by this time people figured out what was going on and decided to vote for the worst guy, if that is what it would take to stop the republicans from stealing another election.

When the democrats decided to make Obama their candidate for 2012, the voters figured out how the republicans had the 2012 election set up, and voted for Obama anyway.

If the gop wants to win another election in the future they will have to come up with some electable candidates in 2016.

They did not "steal" the election. Bush was just too good.

Nov 10, 2012 4:21pm

If Bush did not steal the 2000 election, why is he still alive?

Every other president that won an election in a year ending in zero died in office.

Nov 10, 2012 4:45pm

Oh lord. You're that guy who kept on and on about that, I assume...

Nov 11, 2012 6:42am

Obama won because the Republican party is no longer a viable party and is fragmented. The Ron Paul style libertarians have nothing in common with the Karl Rove style Neo-cons and the Teabaggers are just astroturf zombies. And neither of them had anything in common with Romney, who was much closer to Obama in policy and rhetoric than was healthy.

They fielded probably the worst candidate of the 4.

I do think if Ron Paul had been their pick he would have beaten Obama. I think they really need to take a long hard look at themselves as a party and work out what they want.

Nov 11, 2012 6:52am

^  Correct.  Before Dr. Paul and others of our ilk assume office, the current regime must be purged top down.  To begin this process, we had to give the "left" permission to fiscally "lynch" themselves.  That is happening as we communicate.  The Dow is in freefall.  Government agencies ie. FEMA are rendered futile.  The proliferation of the welfare-state.  A deceitful jihadist guvmint; stay tuned baby.  Sit back, watch, light-up ; history in the making.  Carpe Diem.

Nov 11, 2012 1:11pm

The honest truth is he won because the majority of the US thinks it's perfectly moral to be lazy and do nothing and then make someone else pay for everything for them. I personally think everyone should be able to eat, even if they are lazy morons, but it goes way beyond that. They want the GOVERNMENT to pay for their abortions and birth control and when worried Romney will stop that bullshit, they call it "losing women's rights". WHERE DOES THE CONSTITUTION SAY THERE IS A RIGHT TO ABORTION OR BIRTH CONTROL PAID FOR BY THE NON-LAZY?

Nov 11, 2012 1:46pm

Everyone will disappear due to Obama, due to starving tod eath via his policy.

Nov 12, 2012 2:32am

Romney and his marry men have made too many people dislike them. The 47%, women's rights advocates, women in general, gays, non-religious, rape victims...just to name a very important few...

Nov 12, 2012 2:46am

You're not too bright, are you? I've only shown MANY times now what BS it is that Romney or other republicans were against women's rights. A WOMAN told me a few days ago that the equal pay act is RIDICULOUS and should never get passed. I'm glad SOME women aren't so feminist and sexist as to want to throw men under the bus. As she said, if there was any legislation aimed at giving women equal pay then MEN who work HARDER at the ssame position could not get rewarded for it. There's a REASON why someone at the same position gets paid more or less and it's nothing to do with gender, you morons. It's absolutely sickening how much hate for men you and others have.

Nov 12, 2012 2:48am

Also, the GOP totally screwed up trying to suppress the vote and so those they tried to suppress just were MORE determined to vote. Against them.

Nov 12, 2012 3:50am

The republicans are the rich man's party.

Back in the day, the average guy could get a job that paid enough to buy the stuff he needs to buy, so he (and his wife) felt good that they voted for the rich man's party and not the poor man's party because they liked to think that proved they were successful.

Now that 47% are so poor they don't have to pay income tax, the majority just can't believe they have anything in common with rich people.

Nov 12, 2012 4:01am

True. In the past they always were able to use school prayer, abortion, gun control and issues like that to sucker in the poor and middle class enough to win. That hasn't been working lately I guess.

Nov 12, 2012 11:49am

He won because the majority of the electorate are ignorant.

I'm sure Obama was pushed over the top in this election by voters between the ages of 18-21, who got caught up in all the hoopla back in 2008, and were totally bummed out that they only got to participate as observers.

The media showed a few of them standing outside in Chicago at a "viewing party", they looked and acted like the fools they are.

Nov 12, 2012 1:56pm

Exactly. You nailed it by being 100% wrong.

The country got tired of being treated as ignorant by the neo-cons and their Rovian politics.
